Our lack ability to put teams under pressure by is shocking and our last play options are dire and unorganised. Tonight we should have move the ball wide instead of trying to beat a team that has had a break down the middle and in turn running ourselves into the ground.
On top that when we give penalties away the opposition kick to touch and get at least 20M where as we are struggling to get 10M so continually creating more work.

We also go so deep we either lose ground or again gain very little in the oppositions 20 as we very rarely have runners giving us options and the chance to break the line. Our support play is non existent when we make a break we have no option left or right instead resorting to brainfart offloads giving possession away yet again.

Simply not good enough and no excuse for it.

Lack of settled halfbacks and the fact that our youth structure looks better? That's about all I can think of.

He's not my favourite player, and it wasn't just aimed at you. The constant unwarranted negativity Westerman receives is boring.

Westerman contributes to a collective team effort which is falling so far short of where it should be at the moment it's untrue. That particular penalty was a poor, lazy piece of play. There were other examples by other players in the same game - many of them.

The point I'm making is the direct criticism to Westerman, week after week, when in fact he's actually providing some half decent performances, is unwarranted, obsessive and boring.

Westerman hasn't played consistently well for ages. He's not alone.

First half of the season he was our best forward, but people are too blinkered to see/admit it.

If anyone needs slating lately, it's Watts. Been cack for the last 4-6 weeks, rarely offloading and missing some important tackles. Should have been dropped for Johnson tonight.

It doesn't give him the rest of the season off for good behaviour. Agree about Watts.

You're missing the point. I'm saying the constant criticism is largely unwarranted, he's a lot of fans' favourite scapegoat.

I'm not missing the point at all. Our entire pack has been found wanting this year. Ogre has been our best forward and he deserves criticism tonight for a poor performance. There are reasons why we're way below the standard we should be and both the coach and players should be open to criticism.
