TBF......fans of all sports are going to slate coaches if they are not performing, thousands of fans across the city will be saying insulting things about Agar today...tis the nature of the beast, part of the job.

I doubt there can be many fans now who have even a glimmer of faith in Agar now, shocking shocking shocking.
Salford and co should be meat and potatoes and points in the bag to a club like FC, and when these lower level clubs do pull off a decent win as they do every year WHY THE FOOK DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE AGAINST US????

TBF Wolfie if you read the threads they are critical of the players...however at some point you have to accept the responsibility lies at Agars feet..

He fails to drop players who are constantly performing poorly...(Briscoe)..yet drops others at the drop of a hat..(Hall)

We have one of the best players I have ever seen..(Fitz)..Agar is flogging the man to death, yet fails to utilise..Washy & Moa hardly, in order to rest Fitz..He never even spells Fitz in a game..but take Berro off every bl00dy game!!

His away record is poor, his selections are poor, his interchanges are poor...

And I have supported him and defended him but I am afraid he appears to be failing.

Ok lets look at the players and not Agar ( but remember who puts them on the team sheet though!!)

Radford : Looks like a s horse he blows so much , ever Agar must see he is shot to bits and past it!
Dowes: does it show in the stats anywhere if this guy has ever broken a tackle in an SL match ??
Yeaman: how long are we going to persist with a player who is still living off the reputation of one decent season 3 years ago?? and since has been pants at best .
Berrigan : this isnt the SOO player that I remember or the player who tore GB apart time after time test after test...

You're not looking hard enough. There's been plenty of criticism of the players, both as individuals and a group. The simple fact is, though, that when a side with a large proportion of new players demonstrates all the same faults that the last group of players exhibited, the finger of blame is going to get pointed at the one common factor. The coach.

Oh and BTW - I [ido[/i credit him when we do well and have commented on the unfairness of only ever blaming rather than praising.

You really only have to look at Wigan this season to see what difference a coach can make.

McGuire inherited virtually the same side that Noble left last year - but they're obviously in a completely different league to last season.

Same players - utterly different level of motivation. Roberts being the finest example. Only one person can be responsible for that and that's the coach. Many thought Noble was hard done to last season after taken Wigan to decent play-off runs for the last two seasons (a finer record than Agar's it must be said) but Wigan's board has clearly been vindicated for their "brave" decision.

If Hull are going to do this then they need to make that decision sooner rather than later. I've got a big feeling of deja vu now, and guess Agar won't need more than the Easter period to confirm for me that this season is going the same way as the last two. If that's proven, the board must be brave and act then, I'm afraid.

I do, however, sincerely hope that I am wrong and we blast Rovers off the CP pitch, hammer Wire into the KC park then go and show the "Champions" why it's Bluey that should be the first coach to go. But who really thinks that is going to happen now?
