| Disappointing result but not surprised considering the injuries we have. Also players playing with injuries eg Taylor, Mini, Kelly & Carlos doesn't help. Yet again a player on benefit (Danny) has a poor season relative to norm. The youngsters coming in can do a job to a point but not every week. Not having reserve system does not help with their development. I know all teams have injuries but we have had so many long term key players out this year. We were lucky last 2 years injury wise and that is the difference. Look whats happened to Leeds since loosing Watkins. Still in with a chance of GF but its getting slim

| It’s difficult for us at present, two very flat performances by the boys, we need some troops back to freshen us up, our system worked with Scott Taylor Houghton Watts, with Bowden Green coming of the bench, the way it’s panning out without Liam and Josh our go forward has diminished, consequently Houghtons running game has disappeared, were out of sync, and without replacing Watts with like for like, we will struggle, pretty abject display by our top players, and the criticism of young lads is unnecessary, they are also part of our mistimed system, and will struggle accordingly. Wouldn’t be surprised to do Saints next, it’s time for good fans to stick together and support the boys. We were poor last night, It’s that type of season.

| Losing interest in super league to be honest , the quality of teams is poor , refereeing poor , coaching poor , entertainment , not very. Watched the melbourne v st George game , both had 6 of they best players out on origin duty, still , what a high quality entertaining game , commentary class, refs you don't even notice , the game is like watching a different sport to what super league dishes up. Both these teams would put 50 past us comfortably in a meaningful game at this stage of the season

| Quote: knockersbumpMKII "Downs I agree with, Logan was essentially backsquadded in 2016 to make way for Fonua, then we signed Connor and Griffin so backsquadding/stunting his development further and really is being asked to cover injuries nothing more and sporadically at that due to the coach picking a second rower over him on one occasion so think your comment is unfair about not cutting it.
As for Fash, had been excellent until his injury and playing in a much weakened team it's too easy to say he's not good enough loan hom out, I think you're wrong, very young, has great endeavour if not size and I'd sat loaning him out would be an injustice to him and again stunt his development not to mention a kick in the knackers. You might as well say put Houghton and a couple of others to Donny for a few weeks given how they've done if that is your yardstick. It simply is not always the solution to simply send players out on loan.
Don't think Talanoa strengthens us any but the rest is a gimme in terms of making the team stronger IF they perform to expectations.
We just need to keep plugging away, grab wins however and see what occurs whence the 8s start, it aint over til its over.'"
Logan's development was probably hampered more by the serious injuries he sustained. You mention on another post that you feel Logan did not get a decent chance? He was our starting Centre in 2016 until his major injury. And injury which was so long lasting that he missed the best part of 2 seasons.
Fash has been solid and reliable, not excellent. He doesn't break tackles and does bend the line often enough.
You mentioned stunting of development on many occasions on several threads. How do you expect to achieve development and also have a side with a sustained challenge for the honours? Radford was quoted on RH about not wanting to throw Cameron Scott in for too many games too early in his career, which is the right thing to do.

No, its really not disrespectful at all. Its a dig at those who voted.
The MOM vote was not doubt influenced by Phil Clarkes frequent glowing comments about Miloudi.

| Quote: Wilde 3 "I kind of agree, singling players out is something he did in his first season in interviews. Like to see the 10 ahead of him though, at least he puts his hand up'"
All of the players put their hands up, the effort and commitment is never in question.
Can you really say Miloudi was a deserved MOM when on four occasions he cost us possession, three of which were when in scoring opportunities.
Radford has also not singled out Miloudi. As mentioned on the posts above, he is clearly having a go at those who voted.
Our bigger problem is lack of inventiveness and this so called monster pack we have is not deliving an monster punches at the moment.

No he wasn't. Logan was given the No 4 jersey in 2016 with Mahe given the No 2 jersey and Yeamo shipped off to Doncaster. Logan was playing really well until his injury unfortunately ended his season. An injury of that magnitude is always hard to recover from but hey, don't let those facts get in the way of your anti Radford agenda.

| I did not think there was that much difference between the two teams last night. The key difference was that they had Brough and we did not have Sneyd. As the game wore on Brough - well supported by Gaskell - finished their sets more effectively then Connor and Kelly.
I really like Connor but Sneyd and Kelly complement each other so well as an organiser and a runner. Connor reminds me of Steve Evans who could play anywhere in the back line but there were so often other players who were more effective in particular positions that he ended up on the wing.

| After the Widnes game where Conner went from to the halves, Radford commented that he wanted Conner to have more touches of the ball. It was noticeable last night that Conner didn't seem to get the ball as much as he did against Widnes.

Sigh, I'd written a few paragraphs to answer your question, they've sat on the computer for hours whilst I was off doing other things and hadn't quite finished writing what I wanted to say in reply.
I've cut it all, I've said pretty much everything before, I just get abuse or comments intended to get a rise and nothing to do with the discussion, I've already been told to stop playing the same record today yet it's the same issues that set us back and that includes how LR deals with developing our academy.
Anyway, what's the point, he can't change, he's proven that, fans can't change his mind/how he does things so really is it even worth discussing. We'll either be great, indifferent or a complete bag o poop. As I said upthread, season isn't over til its over.
However we do need to move on, how LR does that I don't know because IMHO I don't think he has the ability to change how he does things, certainly not on his own/with the current coaching set up
