I think the point people are making is that our pack is aggressive but they need an extra spark to really try and knock their opposite numbers around the park. When they have the opposition pinned on their own line, it's a safe area to try and get in their faces - they where reluctant to do that under the old regime.
I trust Gentle to get them fired up.

seeing as the squad fly out to Tenerife tomorrow i would doubt that we are looking at bringing anybody in this month as Mr Pearson alluded to, i think they will keep the space free and see what happens through the season and if the right player becomes available then they will make their move.

I imagine Gentle's team talk will not contain many "um" "err" and "bar" as halfwhit's did!

I just wonder if the lack or aggression from the players came from the general apathy that seemed to stem from the coach at the time as there seemed to be more life in a tramps vest than him at times.

I would like to think this is an area that will be addressed through correct preparation and good coaching and management.

Time will tell.
