Firstly I dont know wether the police made the call although I suspect it may be true, secondly what reason do the police have for not having it on Saturday? Clipper thingy apart, when is the last time any real trouble happened at a derby at the KC? think its paranoid to think we cant congregate and exit in a calm manner when City play every saturday at 3pm against teams with suspect fans to say the least. |

I fully sympathise with your predicament but as has been pointed out this is hardly the first time a game has been changed and it wont be the last. People should realise that there is a chance a game will be moved.
Incidentally, Super League give these dates for Sky's live game selections for the remainder of the season:
Round 23 Selections by July 5
Round 24 Selections by July 12
Round 25 Selections by August 2
Round 26 Selections by August 9
Round 27 Selections by August 22
The round 25, 26 and 27 games can be moved just two weeks before they are played. |

read most of these pages at a glance, i do sympathise with fans who cannot now make the game, this isn't the clubs fault, they are damned if they do and damned if they don't, sky are the ones holding the purse strings to the game, they call the shots and unfortunatly we the fans are the last to be considered, if true that sky wanted our game saturday and the police refused it, imo they shud've moved the pies v wire game to the saturday game and left ours on the friday!
