| I don't think Sky Sports replay the Red Buttton games. A shame as they replay the main broadcast games a few times. Salford/Leeds for example is being shown a couple of times at least next week and on Tuesday morning they are even reshowing the opening game between Wigan and Leigh again in full.

I read on twitter that yesterday while our game was been played live, sky were showing in on the red button, while the main channel was just playing a replay of another game. It's just nonsensical.

Outstanding effort by Liam Knight today. Really really like him.
I'd be happy to keep him amd release Rapana. Why not release Cartwright, always injured or doesn’t that fit your Rapana scapegoat agenda He's not "always injured", don't exaggerate. He is injured a majority of the time…injured when he came here…played 1 game then injured…now injured again,I wouldn’t get rid but he is the most likely on injuries than Rapana…so not really a exaggeration is it. It's literally an exaggeration to say that he's always injured when he isn't always injured. Well what is he then?….isn’t he now injured AGAIN….is it a exaggeration to say he is injury prone then…like I said,I rate him but we can’t get him on the pitch for a decent run and Knight would offer more value but I don’t think it matters what I say as you have your opinion and it won’t shift…hows the clique btw. FWIW,I agree about Cust…he has been very very good this season but some won’t change they minds about him as the didn’t want him here to start

| Should have been better composed for that period in the second half. I don’t think you can read too much into a game situation like that though, it’s such a unique situation to be in.
Warrington have some serious firepower, Williams, Dufty, Ashton, Vaughan, Sneyd etc they literally had nothing to lose at that point at home. They had to throw the ball about they’re bound to score points, they even did similar to Wigan in Vegas when the game was effectively over.
Most pleasing is our backline options are better than I could have imagined at this point. Spine now for the season in theory picks itself 1 Pryce, 6 Cust, 7 Sezer, 9 Borough 14 Balmforth. Realistically though injuries suspensions are always going to kick in and we’ll always have to reshuffle Pryce/Rapana/Moy at 1 at times. Even the magical Rovers who can do nothing wrong look like they might start to be under a bit of pressure with injuries. Litten, Rapana, Hardaker, Chamberlain, Briscoe all look like good options for the centre positions when needed, that was easily what I thought was our weakest area going into the season.

| Also just on Knight. I absolutely love him. If we can pull something out the bag then great but we have to remember that first time in a long while we look to have a really good recruitment plan and might not be wise to make decisions on emotion. The Treister/Swain situation in 2003 is similar.
He’s here as short term signing I’m just going to enjoy watching him while he’s here.

| A 9/10 first half, 3/10 second. Very happy with the result but we do need to start playing for the full 80 if we are going to have a chance in games such as the next two.
I don't know where Pryce will end up long term, but at least for now I really like him at full back. It's obviously going to take time to really bed in and learn the calls and systems properly, so in the mean time I am happy to leave Cust and Sezer doing the creating and organising and allowing Pryce to just chime in as he sees fit. He looked very dangerous at times and his break in the second half was gold.
I've seen Rapana getting some stick, and some of it is deserved because he's making far too many unforced errors. But I think people underestimate just how much his enthusiasm and competitiveness rubs off on his team mates. He really is in into everything and it is infectious. It doesn't give him a free pass, he does need to tidy his game up, but you have to look at the good as well as the bad. His effort to force a goal line drop out in the second half sums him up. 70 odd minutes gone, playing right centre, and there he is to pounce on a loose ball and force a drop out under the sticks. No it didn't come to anything, but they are little extra efforts that Cartwright will love to see.
Ese'ese and Knight excellent, Litten took another step towards making the centre position his own, Hardaker looked at home in the second row. Plenty of good performances all over.
Cartwright needs to really stamp out the off the ball hits. Every single game we do one and often it results in a card. Needless indiscipline and it needs stamping out asap.

Agree with this. There was an element in the second half of Wire going hell for leather, given the half-time score they had to shake their game up somehow. They pulled us across the park throughout that second forty and I think we did well to restrict them to just the three tries. Like I said last night, it was a good job Sneyd missed the conversions or the last ten minutes really would have been nervy! We were able to keep them at arms length for long enough not to give everyone a heart attack. I had my heart in my mouth every time Williams chimed into their attack, he looked so dangerous every time he was on the ball throughout that second half. Credit to our scrambling defence though. Tremendous work-rate by all, even if some it was self-inflicted at times!! Finally, thanks to those guys stood at the back of the stand who decided to give everyone in front of them a beer shower late in the game, really appreciated by those of us stood further down!! I would have thought at those prices it would have been more circumspect to keep it in your (plastic) glasses!! Great atmosphere though amongst the faithful, really noisy all game! Of course winning helps, but it is amazing the air of positivity sweeping through the fan base mere months after most of us were in the very depths of despair. It may still all blow up in our face over the coming months but conversing on this board is a good deal more enjoyable than it was 12 months ago. Long may it continue, fingers crossed!!

| Cracking day out. Impressive cavalcade departing a sunny MKM. Country & Western karaoke singalong in Three Pigeons pre-game lol. A bit disbelieving half-time how good we'd been. Knew it would be holding on gritting teeth time second half Great to see so many happy smiling faces departing the HJ. Onwards we go.

| It was telling how most stayed until the end at the derby despite us losing. Last season the stands would have been empty

I can see where you are coming from about Jed Cartwright.Good second row but is he worth another contract given his time out injured. Big call on him for the club especially as his dad is the coach. Holmes is another if he ever gets back on the field whether you cut your losses. Hardaker looks like he could be a handy second row so for me centre is the priority for next season

we need a full back like Pryce who can create breaks from the back with pace.Hoy was signed to do this but was playing in a really poor team so we didnt see his potential I see Pryce as our long term 6 but this season it looks like he will now play full back

Massive shift from Hardaker again.
Really pleased to see Hardaker playing so well. A lot of stuff was said about his signing and he's proving people wrong.
