| What I don't like (understand) is the fact that it probably costs about £100 to open 4 cash turnstiles, but AP is prepared (forced?) to discount tickets to encourage early purchases, which could cost the club £1000 per game.

Hopefully we'll get permission to put mobile ticket stalls up so that those kind of costs can be avoided.

| Does anyone know what the deal is with the stadium at huddersfield? I think it's owned and managed by the 2 clubs and the council. Does it make a profit or a loss? they have much smaller crowds than us there for both teams so match day income across the board will be massively less. Can't imagine the stadium is significantly cheaper to run but what range of events run there to supplement income?
The whole thing was badly set up from the off with the council being talked into handing over control

| You could pay cash on nearly all turnstiles in the end.

Well they've got to train the stewards in the art of cash handling for City's return to the Championship!

| Think I'd rather have the ticket machine rather than having two young girls at the turnstiles turning to talk to each other and a friend leaving you waiting just as your handing them your ticket

| Match day prices now confirmed on the website.
£3 discount for buying in advance on East Stand tickets, should help aliviate the turnstile issues.
Also pleased to see they've ditched the ridiculous £26 for away fans which got us so much stick

| Storm in a teacup according to A.P. himself, who is confident that ticketless turnstiles won't be an issue. He realises technology moves on and thanks the SMC for their help in enabling the transition to be as smooth as possible.
Seems those fans name calling benefactor Mr Allam and looking into conspiracy theories were a little hasty and with Adam Pearson himself now back tracking looks like everyone is happy.

Agreed, i don't see the problem with opening up the kiosks around the ground to sell tickets...

The problem is negotiating to get the actual tickets out of the ticket office to sell but the Club are confident tickets will be on sale before the games, likely from kiosks (despite the SMC not being willing to sell them), but want as many as possible to buy in advance to stop the queues.
