Sometimes you just have to take it on the chin. We did last season, rovers do this season. We copped a massive amount of fortune yesterday, I am just glad that Mr Ganson finally got some closure on something which has clearly been preying on his mind for about a year

You know what, I actually think it was better to beat rovers when we where utter tu rd and we copped a bent decision from SG, than playing them off the park.
but proof again, that rovers raise their game for their cup final and short change their fans for standard home games. I'd be demanding my money back if I were a rovers fan for the dross they serve at craven park. But then again, I would be stupid enough to line the pockets of the most undignified chairman is British sport.

The game was won and lost with mistakes.Two of Rovers tries came from our mistakes.
It is a shame that their Grand Final ended like that for them !!!!

Congratulations on yesterdays victory.

Watched the game again and we weren't as bad as I remember, our defence as usual was excellent we created numerous good chances, much more than Rovers, last pass or good rovers defence stopped us, we dominated the 2nd half and finally our pressure told. Even in the 1st half, we created some good chances

Had our handling been better we would have won easy.

While I understand the sentiment. It's better to reflect on a poor offensive performance (thought defensively we were good) with 2 points in the bag as opposed to a loss.
Given how we have improved since GF I am certain Gentle will be rectifying the problems of yesterday.
It was a shocking decision by Ganson but we will live with it and move on. Rovers I am sure will get over it one day when they have something to shout about.

On reflection of the decision why couldn't the on field ref question his decision. He must have been watching the screen like the rest of us. Surely if the was a clear line of communication between the two it would have prevented what was a shocking decision.

Theres no doubt at all it was a try, you only have to look at the final score to work that one out!!

Congratulations on the win. We tried hard but we obviously need to try harder. Another 6 minutes harder and we may have got the win. Enjoy it that's 1-1 for the season with one still to play.
I'm sure this game will add a little more spice to the next one.

But yet we still had the best defence of the day. What is the saying?. Defence wins matches.

I just got threatened with a spoon by a Dobbin in the cafe. Last year he was banging on about how they had the best quarterback in superleague and all I said back was well done you got the 2 points. He got really annoyed today because I WOULDN't gloat and just kept saying "We got the 2 points. Leeds next. A proper test."

I got splashed by a bit of custard off the spoon as well.
