Tbf saints overall best team. Not gonna knock Conner on that pass. Goes to hand we properly score and could have won. Small margins eh. The lads never gave up . Onwards to next week and hopefully start a run in the league.

Brown needs promoting above Bowden, I'm disappointed in Bowden, looked like he was actively avoiding taking carries really poor work rate when he came on. How many carries did he make, for a senior prop it's embarrassing, needs moving on. |

Agreed about Bowden, everytime Brown plays, I see more from him in his short spell than Bowden and Fash put together. He runs hard, has an offload game, aggressive defence too, he will make mistakes, buy he has so much potential he has to be in the 17 over those two for the long term benefit.

Can’t knock the effort or heart. Thought the score might have ran away from us at one point.
Just think we look unbalanced. Need a pacy outside back, another big unit in the forwards and some zip and guile at hooker.
Hodgson will hopefully balance the squad a bit once he can make signings. He signed Reynolds ,but we had Kelly anyway.

We have the back, agree on the other two.
I still need to see big improvements from our halfbacks to convince me they are good enough for us to challenge. |

Yes Connor got too excited after the 40/20
He didnt have to make the no look pass as Grace was isolated and we had a walk in just by playing and passing correctly
We can all see that Connor has ability but todays game seemed to highlight his lack of pace |
