| Quote: Wilde 3 "I really, really hate to say this....but I would rest Minichiello for a few weeks. He doesn't look right, missing tackles, less effective with the ball than in previous years. Maybe start to bring him off the bench, Hadley to SR and Abdull at 13. We look a far better team when we use the ball, but the times our plays end with Shaul is just a joke. He needs to learn his trade and learn to time his running'"
I agree with you about Mini.I think he is carrying an injury but also believe it will be his last season.
A good player but defence has never been his strong point.
Feel sorry for Carlos who is a good defender been in the middle of Talanoa and Mini and tonight the frailty of our left edge was really highlighted

Fancy us to put a good run together from now.'"
The younger players are going to be giving LR some dilemmas when players start coming back. I'm really surprised by the quality shown by them. Brad Fash is fast becoming my favourite forward!.
Like you , I think we'll go in a run at some point. Probably pinch some points in the process.

Its rubbish
Bored as love of it. Yes weve won the CC twice but the best team in SL wins the GF - were about a thousand miles away from doing that despite the clubs constant crowing about what it wants
Thats why our attendances are static - one step forward, one step back'"
Castleford we’re by far the best team in SL last year, yet they didn’t win the GF.
You continue to make yourself look a real imbecile with ill informed and blinkered comments like this. As has been stated, why bother?

| Lane reminds me of Houghton on debut just in that he looks ready. Not close to the youth set up but before the St George game was one of a list of players I’d barely seen - surprised how well he’s slotted in and contributed.

Good effort to only lose away by 4 points with 7 first teamers missing them.

| Shambolic refereeing display spoilt what was otherwise a good end to end game in wet/cold conditions.
You had the ref telling the video ref it was a try when Briscoe was clearly in touch and almost on top the linesmen...tries given as ‘no try’ and that being used as a reason to only give it a glance by the video ref not the usual 5 mins post mortem from 5 different angles. Then to top it all the linesman coming on the field to say he’d seen something but wasnt sure who or what??
I then felt we are ourselves got a couple of soft decisions late on the in the game. Too little too late and id rather see consistent and accurate decisions.
As for our performance, very encouraging from the young players and most nights we’d have nicked a win. However we now have a run of easier games and cant afford any slipups.

THere you go again with another Moronic comment.
Cas where head and shoulders above all last season but fell short in a final.
Trot on.

Is this because if Kelly is playing it mentally takes some of the weight of Sneyd?
Notice his place kicking has been poop when Kelly is not playing. Could well be down to him trying too hard to do too much.
Sneyds line attacking has been really good, but to the detriment of his kicking game.
I want Kelly back to take some of that pressure of Sneyd (although wiht both Connor and Abdull there he should really not be that pressured....)

As a Leeds fan, I have to say you're wrong on both counts there. Cas won the League Leaders Shield and were easily the best team throughout the year. What they weren't was a champion team as they were like a rabbit in the headlights when it came to the big games.

Now you know how Warrington fans were feeling about Thaylers performance last week. Then again maybe referees have always been poor and it's today's technology that's exposing them.

We got the rub of the green in the 1st half, but he certainly turned the tables in the second.
And there's a bit of a difference between 50/50 penalty calls and disallowing perfectly good tries.

Not the point I was going to make but it would have helped.
As pointed out earlier in the thread, we had plenty of possession close to their line, I feel Kelly would have the craft and speed off the mark to have got over the line. This would have given us a different option in attack. Sadly, our attack close to their line was quite predictable.

| Is JA a better option than Connor at 6, different types of player, I think JAwould take more responsibility at 6 than Connor does but Connor can do ok there and offers something different but alongside Sneyd I think the combination of him and JA is better/more balanced and JA is a decent tackler too.
Prefer to see JA getting more game time and his hands on the ball more, especially if Kelly is moving on at season end which is more than likely.
