Who is in charge of our recruitment?
Compare it to Rovers. How do they manage to recruitment. ( certainly from overseas) so much better than us?

It wasn't though was it, because after Cooke left we regrouped, signed Matty Head, and actually had a pretty good season. We were one Richard Horne brainfart from being 80 minutes away from Old Trafford. We jumped the gun and got rid of Sharp way to early.

As much as it pains me to say it their recruitment will get even better with Jamie Peacock involved.

Better contacts? Tbf their retention is generally dog turd though. Interview with Kelly this week says he's got an Aus release clause for example.

I'm sick of this excuse now. Rovers have signed 5 good halfbacks amongst all the crap we sign..
Holdsworth and Sneyd being the 2 worst of that group..
Our recruitment has been in the bottom 2 in the Superleague hence why we are sat in the bottom 2..
Pearson out!!

The national team is now in a better place than when he got the job, and he's played his part in that. He's used to being in the spotlight, he's done two years in the NRL at arguably the best club in the world and he has plenty of contacts on both sides of the world. He's also Hull lad to boot if Pearson wants to keep banging that drum.
I don't see anyone better who we might actually have a chance of attracting.

| McNamara won't come. Can categorically rule that out.

And both those players have played much better at other clubs, with a better coach. I doubt that it is so much about bad recruitment.

Yes we signed Head, he played well...then we ditched him for the crock Dykes who rumour has it we didn't even give a medical to! typical badly thought out transfer business, which has continued despite a change of ownership.
We got more value out of a team of mismatched has-Beens, loan signings and youngsters in 2012 (Tony Martin, Aspinwall, McGoldrick, Matty Rusell et al) than we have done in the 3 seasons since, yet have wracked up a massive bill in transfer fees and payoffs.

| How come Westerman wasn't playing?
On a serious note, way way way too much goes through Pryce, sneyd needs to be more involved, he's a decent player, Pryce was soooo predictable. Why also was so much emphasis spent of attacking James Clare's side? Carneys the one who can't defend

| Really shows the changing fortunes in recent years that when McNamara was rumoured to replace Agar most (including me) were horrified at the idea, but I reckon most of those same people (again, including me) would snap your hand off if offered the change now.

Holdsworth and Sneyd have spent their time in SL at Cas and Salford who with all due respect have been in the bottom end of the table and the Championship for the last decade, neither have done it at a big club.

We didn't ditch Head, he didn't want to come to SL long term so wasn't an option for us.
