Think this dispute will only end one way and its going to be a particularly nasty one I'd guess at the moment.

The TUPE laws might cover the contractual side, but as Garreth knows full well from his previous time at Hull FC, its the registration document with the RFL that is important...

I wonder if he fully remembers signing the last contract with Hull FC under duress before his agent told him to withdraw it, only to discover he couldn't due to it being registered at Red Hall? Amazing how that has not been mentioned in any of the posts I've read.

I also wonder if he'll remember being told that he'd end up rotting in the reserves until nobody had room in the cap unless someone forked out a transfer fee? Again something that has conveniently been missed off.

Finally, I wonder if Garreth will remember turning up to the recent fans photoshoot at Odsal 2days after the transfer of club assets to the newco? He certainly seemed quite happy then wearing all his Bulls kit proudly I would have surely thought that someone unhappy in their employment and potentially in dispute would have given that kind of thing a miss???

Or perhaps its just the fact that Andy Clarke fancied another payday like he did with various other players???

Either way, I hope for the sake of both clubs this is resolved quickly so that we can all move on to more important business.

If I moved to a company and within a few months there was a chance that the company could go bust or after a year and I would lose my job, i would be looking to move to a more stable company, especially if another company wanted me.

Carvell is 32 and this might his last chance to get a good contract, he has a family to think of, so I don't think he is doing anything wrong expect look after himself, similar to when he left Hull, he wanted to better his career rather than work under Agar.

If Mcrae and Gentle knew what they were doing in terms of recruitment he would already be here and this wouldn't be happening.

I've know Gaz for a while and I'm just disappointed that he's leaving under such circumstances. I get why he's doing it... we all have families and bills to pay and I hold no grudges against him for that.

However, I remember the carry on when he left you first time around and I also know most of what went on, all of which he kept to himself whilst some of you (a lot actually) gave him a really hard time... he could have spoke out but chose to keep quiet, something that seems to be happening now at my own club.

It seems to have been all forgotten, just hope for his sake that those who cornered him last time around are long gone with the main conspirator.

The Bulls 2014 thing was registered way back and we've know this since November. It was always going to be there should the proverbial hit the fan and that god it was when it did. The point I made is that whilst the contract might be able to be broken, there is no such luck with club registration to the RFL and therefore a compensation fee will probably apply. It was the same with Kopczak and it'll be the same with this.

I really don't want this to end in a nasty way as we really need more positive publicity. Then again, the new owners have to look after the best interests of the club and I can see their side too.

the club would not suffer a points deduction, confirmed in a statement which appeared on the Bulls website in the early afternoon.

I guess they might not have been too impressed when it became clear that the threat of a points deduction was still a possibility.

I think more was the chance that the RFL gave the club the heads up that there would be no points deduction if they agree to settle some of the outstanding debts (HMRC, RFL, Bradford Council etc), but the Bulls couldn't hold their water, pressed the release button too early and ended up with egg on faces.

The RFL now have a decision to make. Either look like the deal has had their seal of approval all along and deduct nothing, or appear impartial and deduct points.

I know which I'd bet on.

Next season he might not even be in SL if [iyou[/i get relegated. Have you thought of that?
