In form and consistency are 2 different things to me. A team could be in form for 3 or 4 matches but that isn't long enough to prove they are consistent.

I do have my own, I have said already that we are in pretty good form at the moment and I hope we keep it up.

Looking at the league table, no one in the competition has achieved that ratio at this point. I'd therefore call 10 from 13 better than "decent" tbh.

Maybe, but it's a fair target given the games we have left. Only leeds, saints and wire away are games we should go into as real underdogs. I'd expect us to win the rest of our home games and we should be winning the others away.

The point is we are halfway through the season, so everyone has played each other once and still has to play each other again. Our remaining fixtures are therefore the same in difficulty as those everyone else has had already. No team has achieved the win ratio which you say FC "should" achieve. I think you are saying that only a win ratio that no one else has managed is acceptable. This seem a rather harsh benchmark IMO.

tommy asked me what we'd need to do for me to consider we were in good form. Winning 10 of 13 games would be good form IMO, possibly 9 depending on the level of performance. Only 8 wouldn't really show much form IMO. Regarding the comparison to the 1st half of the season, I don't really think any team has been "in form", with each of the teams towards the top being indifferent at times.
