Who is saying this exactly? It would be rank hypocrisy, clearly, but whether getting Gleeson on a cheap deal would be "bad business" is another question. |

I think this is why we probably won't sign him, as it's been mentioned on here Agar doesn't stand for any indiscipline and having sacked Tansey for his drinking I can't see wanting to take the risk of it happening all over again, even if Gleeson is a quality player and would improve our squad no end.

As you say three years of utter bollox on the pitch has probably made it come to this. He's not going to be inundated with offers so if we are really in for him, we shouldn't have too much of a problem signing him I wouldn't have thought.
