However the feelings of those that matter at the club seem to agree with me
The protest with the banner showed the 9 people that agree with you

Quote: Kosh "It's not about being a better/truer fan. It's about being a fan at all.
I understand the justification being used. I just think it's bollox.'"
To me the suggestion that I'm not a fan of the club is far more offensive than being called a 'sheep' or told that I'm petulant.

What about losing the last 6 competitive games or only winning 3 of the last 11?

| Quote: Kosh "That's what we thought when Sharpe got the push, and look how that turned out.
Obviously lessons would have to be learnt from that.
I just think that keeping Agar in post when it's obvious he isn't up to it sends out completely the wrong message. At least if we had a caretaker team in place the board could say they had acted and could request our support until the right replacement could be found. I, for one, would be more than happy to support the club through a sticky patch knowing that they were going all out to get us a coach who could take us to where we deserve to be.

It's getting a little hard to take you seriously, to be honest. The tone of your rhetoric last week was completely different to this. You can't be that indecisive, can you?'"
I agree with much of what is being said, remember i feel it too when were beaten just like the next man, but eternally the optomist and feel the turning point is around the corner, i personally would not let RA go just yet because he has much work to do and a great squad to do it with
however wether you take me seriously or not doesnt mean a monkeys toss to me, and wether you agree or not much the same unless yourm opinion means more all of a sudden than mine on RLfans???

It is not a question of a caretakers ability though Kosh, fans want to see the club act, Agar has failed and the fans are getting very restless, if they stick with Agar fans will stop going, if they act and use a caretaker (with the view to replacing) the fans will see this as a positive step in the right direction, we will fail to achieve with Agar anyway so we may as well take steps in the right direction irrelevant of risking a few games.

You need to read that again, and my comments that preceded it. At no point did I suggest that you weren't a fan, and I specifically stated that it wasn't about being a better/worse fan. My point consistently throughout the entire exchange was that I couldn't see how someone who describes themselves as a fan could want us to lose games.

Yeah ok mate. I think I've got you bang to rights, if that quote isn't suggesting that I'm not a fan then I don't know what it is.

My opinion is at least consistent and expressed coherently. That doesn't make it 'worth more' than yours, but changing your mind from one week to the next doesn't exactly lend any credibility to your stance.

I think the club will see it on a season basis. So they'll be looking for an improvement on 16 from 27 last season and better things from the cup. 3 games in, after 16 from 27 last season, wont be the time when they make a decision to sack Agar. Not a good start for sure but the club will give it time. They gave him a 2 year extension, rightly or wrongly, which means an imminent decision is even less likely.

so now the club should sack every coach that has a run of bad results because the fans show a banner ( all 9 of them) where does that end though is the question????
whats positive today will be de ja vu tomorrow...
think back to how thrilled everyone was with sharps appointment!!!
Lets the season run its course and what ever comes comes...
something no one has eluded to yet is that JR and KH want sucess too you know and they watch every game and speak to folk!! they know exactly what is going on and will act if they feel they need to but just now its just too early simple as that

Precisely, I don't want us to rush into another appointment.

That's doubtless their intended policy, but there's no denying that consistent fan pressure has the potential to force change.

Well three losses on the bounce, conceding 86 points on the way (28 points per game), technically bottom of Super League, only team without a win this year. That's all about this season.
I do remember finishing in the playoffs. I also remember that we should have finished higher up than we did in the table, so should have had a different draw, and I also remember surrendering to our greatest rivals in that play off game. Maybe we shouldn't remember that and just focus on this season eh? Oh hang on...
