| Why is it so many FC fans can see what is missing from our game, yet nobody at the club has done anything about it for about 5 years?!?!?!

| Guys, I have all the answers to our hooker problems...
Richard Whiting
Have we played him there yet?

| I personally think if we can bring in some cover at hooker then Berro would be better off in the centres. I have not always thought that but when he played there at the backend of the season you immediately saw his class and had Reece been more experienced then Berro would have put him in for tries. We have not had that at centre for a while so would like to see him there over a number of games.
That said I am not totally convinced about Washy at hooker so if we don't get any cover for hooker then Berro should probably play there with either Whiting/Turner at centre. The problem is from anattacking perspective in the centres they both do a solid job rather than a good one. Ideally Rovelli would have been good, covering 6,7, and 9 and allowing Berro to play centre.
Berrigan showed enough class to make this a debate for me but ultimately it would depend on how Washy went at hooker and that is something we can only guess at. Maybe have a look at him during the friendlies?

The argument of how much value we get out of him is entirely of the club's own making IMO, and not his fault. So for people to keep levelling it him accusingly is besides the point.
It really could be like having a brand new international hooker signed up .

Individually, he has still looked a cut above his teammates the rest of the time in terms of ability IMO.'"
But in his first season (200icon_cool.gif with a poor team he looked a class player, setting up trys, scoring and making breaks.
I don't buy this playing in poor team a player of his class should be still showing how good a player he is, in a poor team, look at Rangi Chase last season in an average Cas team. Holdsworth at Salford is another example.
The odd times he has looked a cut above his teammates, but not very often (certainly not often enough).
I can see what you are saying about moving positions though, hopefully we will aloow him to settle in one position next year, be it centre or hooker and we will see him getting back to his 2008 form.

I've only seen Chase and Holdsworth in a handful of games and highlights every week (as I suspect most non Cas and Salford fans do), and IMO they are excellent in flashes and anonymous at others. They are not showstopping for 80 minutes as the weakness of the teams around them don't enable them to be. Pretty much like Berrigan, then.

Yeah but he is a local lad so tends to come in for stick regardless. He should have left Hul when his last contract came up and gone to Saints, Leeds, Wigan or Wire, they would all have wanted him and he could have shown what can do.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

He just comes in for stick off people who go on radio reports and dont see him in the flesh.
You notice a big difference when Yeaman ISNT playing.
