I dont rate the lad. Showed alot of potential at the start of his career but he just didn't progress. Not a bad signing, but not a good one either, especially seeing as you've paid way over the odds to get him. The only winner is Castleford.

So at 20 years of age you've completely written off his career!? Get a grip. He's one of the best prospects this country has. |

Think he'll be a good signing for you, he's a good player, not bad kicker, and gets through a lot of work in attack and defence.
Never quite reached his full potential at Cas, and has had a lot of off field problems, which led to Cas dropping him for disciplinary reasons earlier this year, think the writing was on the wall from then.
If you can get his off the field behaviour sorted (he really likes a beer) will be really good signing for you.

Good luck with Joe, he is at a crossroad in his career and I just hope he takes the right turn.
I would rather see him in a Hull shirt than any other (after the mighty black & amber of course.) If you can get him back to what he is capable of its a bargain.

I think the way we have dealt with/continue to deal with Tansey could be key to whether or not we see Westerman (and any others) toe the line. He won't have far to look to see what the consequences of any off-field antics are, so hopefully we'll sort both of them out at the same time. Alternatively, if Tansey still doesn't behave, getting shut of him will prove a big point so that others can learn from his mistakes.

Great addition to the squad . A ball playing No13 from Cas ! The last one we signed from them went rather well.
He has a long way to go to compare with knocker though!
He can also cover at 6 if needed.
I`m sure some of our senior players will help him behave.
