That's right Paul. My understanding(from a friend who works for Cas) was that Cas wanted big money to release him for 2011 and we said no. Whether the club have changed their mind i don't know.
The main reason for us saying no was that he would be released for a lot less at the end of 2011 when he only has 12 months left on his current deal. A couple of days after i'd heard this, Fitz was signed for a 2nd year, so it all seemed to fit.

Hull have shown an interest in Westerman which would more likely be for 2012.
He won`t come cheap ,where would we fit him in on the salary cap for 2011?

Most people seem to have this black cloud over ravelli and bet a lot of people haven't seen a lot of him. I would love to see rangi chase here but not going to happen and were crying out for cover in the halves and be better than playing washy there . Rovelli has played over 100 games in nrl so can't be that bad even if he isn't a world beater .

It's happening (2011) so they have obviously found a way.
