It used to be. In fact it used to get regular comments on here. Practice and experience have improved his timing and technique. No reason why Hall might not improve similarly.

Im sure Hall can just dont think Bradford are the team to test this as orford will exploit this weakness. I would put him at centre against Salford and Rovers.

I didn't mean you particularly, but I have heard him described on here as a 'future international', 'one of the most exciting talents in the competition', and 'dangerous every time he gets the ball'. All of these descriptions overstate just how good Hall is, IMO.

I think Orford is more likely to exploit our chronic weakness against the high ball on the other wing TBH.
Mind you If we defend like we did on Friday he'll have an ample choice of weaknesses to aim at. i

Craig Hall is the man to miss out this week, having played in every game so far this season, but Agar says the decision isn’t a reflection on him.
“Craig is not a natural winger, if there is a place where we probably didn’t need injuries it was our back three, but Craig has done a great job for us while he has had to play there,” said Agar.
“But we feel that Calders started the season pretty well, he is an experienced winger and with Richard Whiting in very good form, he has probably done enough to get the nod over Craig.”
All fair enough I think. Public praise for Hall and fair reason for this week's selection. If Whiting has a mare I'm sure Hall will be in contention next week. No sign of any scapegoating. Some overreaction on here perhaps ?

I think on top of the 'normal' level of knee-jerkery associated with a messageboard you have people who still have lingering concerns from last season. One of these is this theory that Agar has favourites who he will play regardless of form, even though there is no evidence of this whatsoever. So whenever any slightly controversial selection happens (and there's always going to be some as fans have favourites as well) then the same accusation pops up.

I'll assume you mean the Horne that plays for Hudds but why you would think I was talking about a Hudds player on the 19 man squad thread on the FC board I have no idea.
Has R.Horne (the stand out player in the FC team for the last 2 weeks) been confirmed as out injured yet?

Last season there was hardly much of an opportunity to drop him because of injuries. This season he's been going well up until the Wigan game.
I agree it might be interesting to see if he plays against Bradford after his poor display last week, but I still find it hard to credit that Agar would take risks with his job by playing someone he knows is out of form just because he's a 'favourite'.

I could see why it would pop up if Whiting's form had been poor, but it hasn't. There are people who will prefer Hall to Whiting in the centre, but it would be difficult to argue that Whiting doesn't deserve his place in the side.
