That second half just papers over the cracks, if rovers hadn't tried to be billy big balls or had a kicker they would have got the 50 but credit to a bit of heart and effort ands a great young scrum half but the fact is it was gone at half time and we as fans have been short changed because everyone outside the City is saying the its obvious that our squad is just not good enough its a cheap fix and it shows.

Next week v Hudds maybe fans should wait till kick off and walk out into the concourse for the first few minutes.


Noticed there was a flash sale posted all over social last week....New spring training gear must be launching soon, just boycott buying any of it.

My concern is, with our current predicament, we will hurt the club. No fan wants that.

Stop going games =
1. Less revenue so less investment
2. Lower attendance so less IMG points

Less investment = poorer performance so less IMG Points again.

It’s your choice what you do with your money but to boycott games will just hurt the club.

Realistically we’re safe this year and appear to have a long term goal, any protest needs to make sure we don’t undermine it.

Jack Charles, Lewis Martin, Nick Staveley, Cobie Waignhouse are all part of Pearson’s investment into our youth structure and it will play dividends. That’s excluding Balmforth as TS doesn’t seem to like him. 2 of them we paid a fee for and one of them we beat nearly every other SL club to signing.

Whilst our first team performance is abysmal, we are getting it right in other places

If fans want to genuinely protest then they should not attend.The club already have passholders money so from that point of view they are not damaging the clubs finances too much.
This would also create a media story showing on TV the empty stadium.
If that doesnt resonate with Pearson then nothing will

Pearson has 8000 fans season pass money bought on false promises, likelyhood is fans will still go, but even if just walking out to the concourse for 10-15 minutes as a start to show our displeasure how the club is being run...any banners will be taken down/off fans much quickly.

The club will still announce 10k anyway (8k pass holders plus SMC bought tickets plus a handful of a away fans) it's all an illusion.

IMG need to be doing an audit on how many fans are actually in the grounds, several clubs playing games with the numbers

Protesting is supposed to hurt the clubs hierarchy not the clubs long term future like the ideas others suggested. If you want to compromise the clubs future then you're an idiot.

As has been said, the club already has our money. A few rounds of 4-5k attendances would send out a strong message to Pearson that we will not continue to be treated like idiots.

The reality is that TS has been brought in to reorganise the playing side of the club also, as Tarquin has said numerous times, change the culture. Even Gaz Ellis said he couldn’t motivate some players. AP has nailed his colours to the mast, he’s using this season to clear debts and hopefully negotiate a better deal with SMC. I’m as sick of jam tomorrow as anyone else but I’ve been around for 60+ years. Protests won’t work because of the above. TS will move upstairs to Director of Rugby and Grix is the next coach. It’s clearly a case of put up or shut up. What we have is what we have. Staying away won’t make ha’peth of difference, he’s got your dosh and gates of 10,000. The season’s fooked, just wish TS would see sense and get Balmforth in for Houghton who should clearly call it a day, he’s not a captain, he hardly ever shouts the odds to the team.
