I’m hoping it’s up to Brown to earn himself a longer contract and prove he wants to be here. Clifford returning would depend on how well he goes back in the NRL and if he does come back there would be a bidding war for him, I wouldn’t just assume he would come back here. |

And How often do players go back to their old club ? Not many
Morley didn't go back to leeds
Williams didn't go back to wigan
Ellis didn't go back to leeds
Why would Clifford come back to us based on last season.....  |

Was going to put something similar about Brown myself 
Not sure what his ambitions are but it must be time he was looking to settle at one club and stay 3 or 4 seasons at least.
This is a big chance for him to do that and add his name to our long list of kiwi greats!
Hopefully he hits the ground running and we are soon talking to him about extending his contract.
Would prefer that than constantly waiting to see how Clifford is going at the Cowboys! |

Fingers crossed that’s the case as It will give us a real attacking threat if he was to move into 9 in 2025.
Agreed on Clifford I hope we aren’t putting all our eggs in that basket, if he comes available then great. But I hope we are looking at other targets as well.
