If Smith doesn't think Savelio has the right attitude and therefore doesn't want to play him then I support that. Setting the right culture has to be the most important thing even if it weakens us slightly on the pitch. That said, we need to sort out the Jordan Lane problem. He is sticking out like a sore thumb, he makes no impact when he carries it. He drops off easy tackles and he makes errors. Either put Scott to the second row or give one of the youngsters a shot.

no but we need to win matches and surely cant keep playing Lane in front of Savelio,so if thats the case then something internal has gone on and it looks like there is no way back for him

Tuimavave for me is the obvious choice.has the strength to play second row.

No he hasn’t but he is a lot better than say Jordan lane is at the moment. So in my eyes he must of done something. If he has had a bad attitude to hard work etc then like most on here have said I back Tony smith 100 percent. I have had enough of players ruling the roost . The coach is the gaffa . I'd have been really worried, had we not won the last two, pressure would have been massive going into the game on the back of 9 defeats and a Wakey win would have put the team in trouble.

Pressure off now and I expect us to play with some confidence and win this game.

Good news for us this, another Kane Evans

The Savelio one isnt that much a mystery as some are making out, go back and watch the games and watch his attitude in defence, flat footed and downright lazy. Showed terrible attitude defending. I get lanes not been great , which i put down to probably poor confidence caused by poor form. I thought Lane was alot better against Wigan id be interested to see hos tackling stats in that game, hopefully he l keep it up. But his attitude is alot better now compared to Savelios.

Smith knows whos taking the club for a ride and the ones not giving value for wage are being moved on. Griffin and Taylor have certainley knuckled down under Smith.

Like most games this season, his stats were poor, 33 tackles but 6 misses, its his attacking stats that are even worst, 7 hit ups for 28 metres.

His best metres in a game was 72 metres, Savelio on the pitch is streets ahead of Lane, but if his attitude isn't right I ca understand him being dropped.

I just hope we are looking to move him on soon, no point him say on the naughty step for the rest of the season.
