Exactly after 25 mins Houghton was out on his feet and it was criminal that the Coach left him out their and continues to do so. If you watched wherever Houghton tried to go in the line to catch a breath St's just pinpointed and exploited him and just went through like a hot knife through butter, yet Hodgson still persisted on leaving him out. I'll give Houghton credit for trying to keep going but the time has come for him to tell Hodgson he can no longer do 80 mins. He is at the stage the same as Ellis was were when he'd played 80mins he needs more than a week to recover otherwise he's a liability in the defensive line and in one that already brittle is just giving opposition teams a field day.

It's not new either as Hodgson has done it almost every time since he took over as Coach, even the oppostion know that Houghton will be out on hios feet after 30mins even more so in the energy sapping heat.

This is another reason why I just don't see Hodgson as the right guy for the job as Head Coach.

Not sure how any hooker could be expected to do 80 mins by themselves against Roby and Lussick, especially in that heat and with a forward pack that were slowly plodding back to get in the defensive line

I won't post in full what I've been told but its fair to say it sounds like it's been an explosive day at the training ground

If he plays for Wakey, put all your savings on him scoring a try.

If he plays against us it tells you all you need to now about how we are run. He's our player and should play against us. Seem Simm and Sts.

AP is far from a happy man and he didn't hold back from letting them know it. No player is safe from being shown the exit door if what's been told is to be believed.

Hodgson hasn't got it in him to be like that. After the Catalan game, Reynolds told him that he needs to get angry and rip into the team and tell some home truths but his response was 'that's not how he coaches and it won't make any difference'.

Pearson wasn't at the game yesterday due to illness so after hearing about that display he must have crawled out of his death bed to get to the training ground.
