Hope so. They always say though over Easter that it's not the Easter Monday game that gets you but the one after.

| Disappointed Wynne isnt in, I cant see any of Shauls game that is better than Wynne' right now. I also dont see the reason to bring in Ratu in, think apart from Leeds he has been poor this year, doesn't offer enough going forward to help the team out.

| Ratu all day long for me, he’s got that speed, agree about Wynne he’s been really unlucky to lose his place.

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

We've won 1 in 5 . You guys are very slight favourites with the bookies.

| Disappointed that Shaul just comes straight back in.
I'm doing things over the weekend so I probably wont watch it. My enthusiasm is at an all time low. Partly because I'm feeling really disillusioned with the club right now, and partly because the season has just become a case of lets get it finished to make sure we keep sky happy. A cup with 8 teams doesnt do it for me tbh. Even if we won it I wouldn't really care much.

Depends if the bookmakers believe Liams broken ribs tweet, seriously, watching Cas at present, and watching Hull are two different levels, we’ve had two fortunate wins against Huddersfield and Wakey, whilst Cas have been outstanding against Saints and Wire, Hull will have to raise the bar to get anyway close.
But you never know

Plus we have an interim coach with what 4 games? under his belt, not the hugely experienced Powell and are missing both our GB players and our 2*Lance Todd winner. Would love to progress in the cup personally but viewing this game more in hope than expectation.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

4 of our team who played on Thursday dropped out of the cup squad, 3 players from Cas, so not much difference.
Depends on the final 17, I guess. We could have as many as 8 fresh (pairs of) legs, and cas 7.

We've only won two in five and haven't won back to back games away from the KCOM since June last year.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| Quote: the cal train "Buchanan out of the 21 for Cam Scott.'"
Both would probably lose their place, the bigger picture is, who has made the decision to release Buchanan, and keep Scott, if it was a one player shoot out, my money was on keep Buchanan he’s already played in four different positions, and looked extremely promising, athletic, strong, fast. and versatile. Cam Scott we did well in securing him, loads of clubs if memory serves well were after him, a great prospect, we dumped him in a Derby as a kid and he held his own, he’s captained a successful colts team,.
As I say if it is a choice, it’s Buchanan for me, but the travesty is, we can’t keep them both, big club, never till these youth policy issues are nailed, as a scenario should Wigan keep Smithies, Harvard, Partington Byrne or Shorrocks, well they will keep them all till Bateman returns.
Good luck to him at Batley, sorry for the rant.

| .... I've said this before, Scott was signed before the financial crisis, Buchanan was released because of the financial crisis.
Wigan is not a very good example, they have recently had a £2.5m cash injection from a billionaire who has bought a 25% stake in the club.

Yes you have, and I accept it, but things have changed, including our coach, decisions can be changed, and decisions on retention can be changed,
Wigan are the perfect example they are by far the leader of retaining, returning, and delivering talent at all ages.

| Waiting in anticipation for this cup clash, we’ve not reached our best form, and this is the perfect opportunity to do it.
