| I think a few are missing the point that Sneyd, Kelly, Conner, Westerman Bowden, Talenao, Minichello are all due back having missed the bulk of the season through injury. That scratches on the surface of the problems we have had with players doing long minutes with injuries (Griffin, Shaul, Taylor etc).
It was noticeable that putting too many young players in at once was overwhelming for them at times and there was a need for a few more experienced personnel to be added to the squad.
Although these signings are not going to set pulses racing, they are what the squad needs so injuries are not such an negative impact next season.
Lets face it, if you have been around the block long enough (and I am not going back that far here) we have seen a lot lower levels of quality in the past.

| From an outsider looking in I would be chuffed if Radford went for Mason Caton-Brown over someone like Dawson, probably one of the quickest in the league and always showed up very well for Wakefield (Just a shame he was behind 2 quality in form wingers in Johnstone and BJB). He just does not fit Radford`s plans for the wing, don`t get me wrong I know your big strong wingers are effective but I think its all about getting the right balance throughout the squad and I think lack of pace can be exposed against certain opposition.

spot on - why spend on signing a player in a position we are already strong in when everyone is fit. we don't possess a crystal ball, we don't know how the season will pan out injury wise. the only position i would argue we might need a quality player is prop, having not really replaced watts. put our first 17 on the field with any regularity will see us up there

If he was around to start a Radford Out petition, who knows, we could go on to win a couple of Wembley finals

When you consider that our mavericks (Connor and Kelly), our organiser (Sneyd) and our ball playing forward (westerman - after Watts departure) were all unavailable, it would not have mattered if you'd has the Aussie three quarters and the Kiwi front row, we would still have struggled to score tries.
The really disappointing thing about our collapses at the end of last season was the weakness's in Defence which were cruelly exposed.

I think that was more then likely due to fatigue, Too many players at the end of the season had been playing on injections and for too many games.
I'm hoping for better luck with injuries next season tbh.

Dawson though is not big. What he is though is bang average, slow for a wing/centre and i cant understand why he was signed on a 2 year contract as a fill in.
Maybe accept a 1 year contract and then part of our huge clearout for 2020

He's busy spouting his bile on the Total RL forum as Denton Rovers. He still hates Radders and has answers to every problem known to man. I don't miss him one bit.

| Great news is that Jordan Thompson has said that after a year of coaching at Leigh and Leeds he is a better player then when he left
He’ll be like a new player

That's great to hear
Excellent work by Radders then you'd agree?
Letting him go elsewhere on others payroll to fulfill his potential then poaching him back when completed.
It's nearly genius.

Apparently Thommo had an offer from a bigger more successful club than ours, the triple World Club champions and multiple Grand Final winners, but decided to come to little old us.
I like optimism in a player.

Well according to Leeds fans they thought Thomo was rubbish.
I actually have no problem with Thompson coming back as a squad player.
Dawson on the other hand i just dont get that.
