MIKE SMITH- THE BEST CENTRE HULL HAS EVER MADE!:

Quote: Jake the Peg "Can't tackle, has no pace, can't create space and rarely scores. rovers fans going all gooey eyed over a reasonable half season against semi pro opposition'"
not all of us, clearly a loose forward in my eyes Radford all over the place with team selections ,he always gave 100 per cent and looked promising that's all,

Abdul is a loose foreward, first match of season he came on has a third pivot in second half against hudd.not only did he play well it was hulls best attacking half of the season.radford mentioned him as adding to hulls attacking options.but he never continued with him in that role.he will never make it as a half.

Abdul doesn't have the fitness, workrate or size to play LF in SL. No club has a ball player at LF. They all have an extra middle player to share the workload around more. Westerman is a bit of a ball player but he's massive and has a great engine and very high workrate

If we sign him (and I hope we do despite the Mail indicating it won't happen in their 'chuck him under the proverbial bus as a distraction' article), it'll be as stand-off or even a centre, I imagine. Like most clubs now, we use our fullback as our third pivot, and the last thing we need is a lightweight third 'middle' after the 'small, mobile pack' traumas of recent years. I'm not naive about last year in the second tier - but he showed a fair amount of quality and buckets of enthusiasm. I'd want a good third option alongside them, but would be happy to try to build around Abdull and Atkin in the medium term.

this is the problem your now bulling up a player that hasn't been involved in the recent meltdown ,westerman spends most of his time running across the pitch interfering in plays as for fitness he is not that durable, decent on his day though not consistent,

the lack of ball playing loose forewards is one of the reasons rugby league is far less entertaining than it used to be.along with ball playing props.the aussies used to envy our game.the fact that hull sold one of the few ball playing props in the game this year goes down as one of the worst decisions hull have ever made.

Me giving an opinion on a talented player isn't a problem

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result:

I think Abdul is a bit high maintenance needs to feel wanted all the time so he tends to spit his dummy out if things aren’t going his way he thrived last season with us (yes I know it was the championship but we did play SL sides and he played well) because he was the main man in the halves something that was never going to be at Hull I just don’t think he suits Hulls style

I'd like to thank Jordan for his efforts... but I'm not convinced there's been enough.

Simply hasn't been good enough at Super League level and appears to be a bit of a dummy spitter.

Think it's a positive for all concerned if it helps us free up some cap space.
Another quality prop with a bit of grunt is a must, especially with big injury question marks over Bowden & Green. Some tough decisions needed to lose several of the current squad. Apart from Lane, Scott, Masi and Beniek don't think we've seen enough from the the other young guns to suggest they can't benifit from season long loans somewhere. Not sure how we can move more established players out if they already have contracts in place as Pearson quote rightly doesn't want to be paying players off just because they can't be d to put a shift in!

so he wants to be first choice half back? he has started the last 6 games in the halves, how many wins? how many chances created, even when we were getting up the field into the oppositions 10/20 metre zone

sorry Jordan those last 6 weeks gave you your chance but you didnt show anything to prove you could have been the first choice half, shame as many of us hoped he would have taken it!

Do you really think he’ll free up that much cap space can’t see him been a big earner
