everything you post is OPINION, please stop pretending, you really do embarass yourself, and fellow FC fans.'"
How rude. I'm not "pretending" anything, I'm merely relaying that James Smailes reported that Lewis Bienek did a tour of Wigan, Saints, Warrington and Hull within 24 hours before settling on FC.
What are you annoyed about? Do you think it's untrue that Wigan and Warrington were interested in Bienek?

| Caught the back end of rugby league backchat this week. Had a players agent on, who happened to be the agent of the player we've signed from London.
Said he had a tour of Wigan, Wire and Hull.
Agent said Shaun Wanes pitch had the hairs on the back of his neck standing up. Did a full on presentation.
He was a guest of Wire for the Saints game, who were really impressive.
He met Ellis and Radford who were more laid back, with Radford taking the mickey out of some of the players.
The kid went away for a bit and Kept coming back to the craic at Hull. He thought it was the place for him.
So, Ellis is one from one at the moment

Not been funny , but if I'd just heard a speech that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, I know where I'd be going!

It's not the agent who has to play for Wane though is it?
The big speech might not have impressed the player as much. Can't have done otherwise he's be going there.
The player kept asking the agent for his opinion, but he refused as it was the players decision.
Obviously Ellis and Radford same something right, or something that resonated with the player.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Odd how people even dispute a player's decision to come to this club.

It is strange. It was the agents account of the process, so presumably pretty reliable!

What an awful fan you are making out you've heard what's been openly discussed. How awkward. Not for Ellis though.

| Just imagine if Gareth Ellis is unsuccessful in his new position as our football manager, and how much more he'll be eulogised, as a player, in the future, if we don't manage another major trophy for 10/20 years?

The kid has gone with his gut instinct.
AP sold Gaz the vision when he had many suitors upon his SL return.
Sure Gaz & Radders have done similar.

| “I chose Hull because I felt it would be the right environment for me. There’s some great players and outstanding facilities,” he said.
“Scott Taylor and Mickey Paea are two players who I look up to. They play very similar rugby to the style I like to play, and I’m looking forward to working with them.
“I was impressed with the success that Hull have had in the last two years, winning the Challenge Cup, and I’m hungry to enjoy some of that.”

| Thing is, when it comes to recruitment overseas, Gaz Ellis' name and reputation is second to none in the NRL. Just a shame we can't utilise it fully due to the disparity in the Salary Cap.
