| Got to give him credit for sticking to his guns amid much criticism. Its also been a lot better since he started to let the team do the talking and not resorting to hype in the media.
The job isnt completely done though, he needs to tempt the missing fans back and get some bigger sponsorship deals again for the club to be able to kick on and consistently compete at the top.

Has got a new big sponsorship on board this season, of this season doesn't tempt the missing fans back, then they will never come back. Was it 7000 passes this year? Should be aiming for nearly 10000 next year, I know of 7/8 who are getting passes next year who haven't had one for years.
On Pearson I've always stuck for him (although it's been tough at times), he has made mistakes, but without him I honestly believe we had potential to do a Bradford.
So Mr Pearson I thank you for saving our club and putting us on the road to success, nobody can doubt his motives and passion for this club, I hope you are here for many more years and we continue to get the success you deserve.

| I heard it mentioned that it was worth £250k to the runners up so i'd hope it was considerably more.

Cut of gate receipts, prize money, merchandise etc will probably net the club circa £250,000 (based on projections from the Warrington Chief Executive).

I think that's for the finalists, winner will get more (prize money, merchandise and ticket sales) all on the back of a cup win.
No matter happens on Friday, Wigan at home should easily be our highest non Derby attendance of the year.

It was £400k for a win in 2008 according to our CEO at the time.

| In 2010, we averaged just under 14k. I get that some were disgruntled with Radford in his early years as a coach, but surely even these people must be won over by now? That there were over 25k hull supporters at Wembley, you'd like to think at least half of those would show for a home games.

| Can't help but be reminded of Neil Hudgell's blog post on KR's site where he names Hull as a yardstick on recruitment and performance and then proceeds to call out half their fanbase for bitching about him/them being . Wants to learn the lessons from FC but clearly learned nothing from his direct counterpart.

I think we have about 5k fans who come to a few games without owning a pass, obviously never all there at the same time. Hope a few who made that choice financially scrape the money together for a pass.
There were clearly people yesterday who'd never been to a game, there was a family in front of me all in Hull shirts who never sang and only stood up to clap at the end, which was a bit strange. Need to get those people coming to games.
As for me, already converted a cousin who wants a pass next year.

Don't be too harsh. His bitter attempt to derail Taylor's move home simply developed him under a great regime at Wigan and yielded us this hero. All the sweeter for us - cheers Hudge
