Resting players against Salford is not going to have a major impact on our chances of winning the League Leaders Shield. I'd not say it meant nothing. It's still a major trophy. Leeds won the treble last year, not the double.

You are entitled to your opinion but I think not being bothered about the Cup is crazy. I've been waiting nearly forty years to see us win at Wembley which is far too long.

With that result tonight I'd be tempted to wrap Houghton and Sneyd in cotton wool because everyone else we can cover if injuries come along, but those two are critical for me for the semi!
