| Really tough decision.
Catalans is out biggest game in three years as I feel we have a real chance in the Cup this year.
To miss out on the top four play offs we'd need to lose five from twelve and that's assuming Saints or Wakefield win all of their final twelve games. On the other hand we need to aim for the top two to get a home play off game.
I think I'd go full strength against Cas and we may get the chance to rotate against Huddersfield.

Every game now has an added importance as we strive to keep the top spot. If a team is winning you do NOT change it. We had no weak links in there - our edge defence was spot on, forwards blasted away at them and game management was impreccable. We let in 2 tries, one from a bad error and one from a slow, ponderous kick against the best attack in the game. Yeah, let's change that and run the risk of stopping a juggernaut of momentum.'"
Ive no idea how many injuries we might get,i would just make sure our best 2 forwards were playing against Catalan.

Sneyd's the bigger worry for me - plenty of cover in the back row. Guess it would be Pryce and Carlos in the halves? Naughton's probably the next choice kicker.

Do we actually have a back up goal kicker in this current first team squad? Anyone know?
Ive seen Naughton kick goals but he is currently out of the team.
Never seen Tuimavave kick goals but wouldnt be surprised if he is our back up

| I'd be tempted to give Manu a rest due to the fact he was limping at the end of the Wire game. We have plenty of cover and strong replacements in Hadley, Washbrook and Thompson also Taylor could perhaps do with a rest but would that be pushing it resting our best prop? Watts, Bowden, Green and Thompson as prop and Minichiello, Ellis, Pritchard, Hadley and Washbrook all covering the back row.

| Barring injuries and knocks play the strongest team possible, there will be a time when we will get injuries or go on a bad run, so need to get as many points as possible, we should now be going for 5/5 and then if we do progress in the cup we have a nice cushion and still a good chance of a top two finish which should know be our aim.

| No game this season is a gimme, you either play the long game and rest players now whilst we are in a relatively/fairly secure position with an eye on reducing chances of late in the season injury/fatigue AND to ensure the back up squad players get some actual game time at the highest level.
Or you try cement the LL trophy, win every game all the way up to and including the GF (which obviously is the ultimate goal CC aside) and hope that any minor injuries/niggles don't turn into something more or that players get burnout and perform worse come the crucial games.
Me, I'd rest players now, not all at once obviously but 2 players against Cas, 2 different players the following week. Trust to the squad players and the confidence within the team as a whole AND your coaching and tactics.

Agree with this Sneyd's a worry had ankle and hamstring knock/strain so I would be tempted to leave him out Sunday, go with Carlos and Pryce in Halves and bring Naughton in on wing to kick goals, rest Manu and bring in Hadley. Leave the rest in

Houghton can do it. Only making 40 tackles a game currently so he's got spare capacity.

Been a bit disappointed with his workrate in recent weeks. Should be 50+ tackles a game really

You wish!!!
On a serious note, there's no such thing as an easy game this season and if we go into Sunday thinking it's a gimme then we'll come unstuck.
We should play our strongest possible squad at all times, something the vast amount of teams can only dream about at the moment.

Sneyd must play if we are to have a chance v Catalans. Any question marks over his fitness for Cas and I'd rest him.
