This is exactly why his defensive failings (at Centre) get overlooked by some. Same for Talanoa.

| SL teams seem to pass/attack from right to left, it's players natural way of passing, making most teams right side defence more exposed, making more tackles & having most of the plays finishing that way.

| Logan has the potential to be much the better attacking threat, but defensively didn't look great though acknowledge that the issues down that side weren't all down to him.
MF is overweight/unfit and not a patch on his NRL form. Very dissapointing tbh.
Michaels Is still the best all round centre we have and I hope he's injured because it's a travesty that he's being left out the side at the moment.
I wouldn't be unhappy at Logan getting anither go at the expense of Fonua

| It's a whole new edge who haven't played together but Pryce doesnt look at all fit. He was pedestrian against Wakey and on Friday. If Carlos is fit he has to play 6 for me.

does any one think that Thompson at r/centre would work? we signed him as a centre iirc. Against leeds he caught their winger, so he's got enough pace. very good defence, and great footwork. Be gentle with me please!

| I'm a big Thompson fan, but he isn't as good in defence as you put it. Often gets caught out and flings his arms about too much trying to grab the shirts instead of wrapping them up. As for playing centre, I'd pass on the idea. He's effective coming off the bench.

On the flip side, you could say its only the fact that Yeaman was considered strong in defence that overlooked his lack of speed or ability to put his winger away.
There are very few players who excel in all areas of the game.
I think this criticism of Fonua is a bit hash.

| So if Yeaman can't get his winger away on the left then why do we always play our most defensively sound centre on the left with more that half the big plays going down the right?
Would Fonua find it easier to defend on the left, would Yeaman improve the right side defence?

This is why coaches get paid, to work these things out.
Ironically, Yeaman probably has more try assists this season so far than he has had for a while. Perhaps a consequence of not being guaranteed a place?
Personally I dont thing Fonua is the issue defencively

| Yeaman has plenty of try assists ask Tom Briscoe, Naughton and Talanoa. Thompson misses too many one on ones for me.

HAHA
Briscoe and before him Raynor could easily have topped the try scoring charts had their chosen to pass at the right times

| Yeaman this last few matches has been really good and he's actually passing the ball. But for years he never passed his main downfall IMO often taking the tackle instead of freeing his winger

| Oh why oh why do some have to find something to moan about? here we are third in table just done the double on a side who many are saying will be in Grand Final and all we do is pick out the negatives. What some miss is the fact that Pat Richards is a big unit ,a class winger and takes some stopping and with the great passes he got 10 yards from the line it was odds on he would score. The dig at Fonua being overweight and unfit is an insult to the player and the coaches,i agree with what was said on radio tonight about how some fans slag players off when we lose ,we won and still doing it..give your heads a bang
