Indeed. 5 hours 40 minutes to go, promised no more posts after Sunday.
He makes some valid points and is free to choose whether he plays his part in keeping the club afloat, of course.

Except it isn't just me losing interest is it, even the most blinkered supporters can see there have been less people in the stands than at any point in the KC era, even in the Agar days. Thousands have already walked away.
good luck to you all next season. I genuinely hope I am proved wrong and the club kicks on and gets out of this mess but as I have explained several times I don't feel the off-field staff have the experience to drag us out of the malaise.

| I don't get some hull fans it's like there negative for negatives sake I've just watched my club win all 7 games in the middle 8s but it was the most boring 7 games the team and fans didn't really get up for it whereas you beat saints ran Wigan close when everyone was expecting a cricket score should have won today and have made some very good signings for next season I don't understand it plus it's like if you don't agree with the OP your a happy clapper who just excepts everything whereas id just call you a fan who follows your team through thick and thin

| 4 wins out of the last 15 games tells you all you need to know about this season. it's happened and we have the same situation as previous years.
Next season might be better with the quality of players coming in and indeed it's the best we've had for a long time IMO but the main sticking point is still the coach, supporters are disinfranchised with the club almost on a par with the Lloyd era and part of that is down to the owner as well as the coach.
ATEOTD either one goes, or you don't, criticising those that state they aren't going because of X will have zero effect on them. It's their choice to make rightly or wrongly for the club. You could flip it around and say that by renewing your pass/attending that you're aiding the cancer that still afflicts the club. I'm beyond caring either way but I'll still go when I can.

| Quote: UllFC "As fan of over 20 years it pains me to say this, but this is he point our years of decline are in danger of becoming a terminal spiral.
Yet another disappointing home display, the team didn't even turn up for about 20/30mins, gave a distinctly average Catalan a head start, and somehow allowed them to win when they've been hammered every week when visiting the UK.
Same collection of issues that have dogged us for years, no attacking game plan, poor kicking, awful conversion attempts. Failure to turn up for 80mins. No different attacking moves to all the other 'close but got no points' games we've had in the Radford era. I think most fans are realistic and didn't expect a classic today, 7th versus 8th in a dead rubber was never going to be, but we do expect effort for the full game. The young kids did better over the last few weeks than the experienced pro's on display today. Catalan's were also a lot smarter with their play, often playing for penalties and slowing the game down, something we never seem to do.
Crowds and the atmosphere are at their lowest point, Pearson admitted there was only 6,500 in the ground last week and there can't have been any more than that today despite some free/cheap tickets in the North stand. The fans are voting with their feet, in increasing numbers.
I can only plead with Pearson to admit he made a mistake in hiring Radford, and go out and hire an experienced head coach, which would restore confidence and most fans would renew next year and give the team a chance.
I had already decided not to renew my pass next year based on poor performances over the last year and a half, but today really was the final straw, after yet another week of hype in the media 'going to end with a bang' we went out with a whimper. We have signed some quality players next year but it's backs we need more than forwards. We are also losing Lineham and Paea who are quality players who we will miss.
Some posters on here may be glad to hear that after over 20 years of support and approx 11 years posting on here this will be my last thread. This isn't the club I fell in love with, it's a badly managed sinking ship and I can't see anything changing anytime soon. Over and out!'"
Hard to disagree with this post..

Obviously I am very set in my views. But I think this is a fantastic post that sums up the current situation better than I could

Perhaps if you hadn't come on announcing to everyone that you're going then you wouldn't get a response. Quite frankly people are not interested whether you turn up or not and will make their own decisions on whether they will continue to support the club, but they probably won't make a public announcement either way.

You can be an advocate, a neutral or a detractor, just need to choose your own attitude and actions. The Middle 8s have been quite rubbish from a Hull perspective, but up against teams building for the GF and with a lot of injuries we've at least salvaged something in terms of giving our own young players game time against the top sides.
Overall we've done better than last year and Abdull and Logan have made strides in transition. Best academy finish for many years. Some very good recruitment. Coaching set-up not where it needs to be but possibly cash is too tight to pay off and then bring in someone more expensive. Let's just get on with it.

| First ones in line for tickets if we got to Wembley though, I'm sure.
Easy to moan on a message board.

| looking at this season compared to last,we won 8 games at home last season and 2 games away.this season we have managed to win 7 games away, with some good performances, but have only managed to win 5 at home.unfortunatly for pearson the majority of fans who buy season passes only watch them at home.this season the performances at home have been awful.even the 5 wins have been unconvincing.

| Can't wait to watch Watts & Taylor in the front row next year, Pritchard ripping it up on the edges, the unknown quantities of Fonua and Tuimavave. Add to them the most exciting batch of u19's in a generation, with the likes of Logan, Abdull & Lancaster ready for first team already with the emergence of Downs, Fash and Turgut, even Matongo and it'll make for a cracking season.

To be honest I would have rather played in the super 8s and won one or two games than watch what I have for the last few weeks plus there are a lot worse off teams than Hull at the moment and we have a great academy also

Not for 4 years you don't, by then I fully expect you to be back in the lower leagues.

And I don't disagree...but its still Radford pulling the strings, the same small number of backroom staff (who's only coaching experience is playing and coaching at HullFC) coaching the basic skills, the set piece moves etc.
Quality players like Pritchard & Manu should perform regardless of the coach, and I agree that Fonua & Tuimavave may add something unexpected to the mix. But its the remaining squad/backup players who need someone to help lift their game and get them out of the mediocre displays they are used to. We need someone to turn players like Green & Bowden who have been in the team a few years and done ok but not set the world alight, and push them on to the next level.
