Ellis will be a massive loss. Obvious replacement would be Whiting with Hadley coming in on the bench. I'd be happy to not see Sa play again for us, useless signing.
As for Pryce, I would like to see Rankin moved to 6 and Shaul back at 1.
Have Sneyd & Rankin played in the halves together? I can't remember a time, but looks a good pairing on paper with Sneyd having a running 6 alongside him.

We do need a loan signing - IMO.
At Hooker... Howarth,Cunningham & Parker have all gone,
AFAIK, we dont have anyone to come in, IF Houghton got injured.

We were all ready to sign McShane once the two Wakey games were over, seems Brian Smith has blocked that release now though. |

Ellis is going to be a huge miss and not just his physicality. Radford now more than ever needs to get his interchange of the forwards right and avoid leaving us less strong, Ellis is pretty much an extra prop for us and green/Bowden/Thompson need to dig deep and try fill the void.
I don't have many worries about Abdul but is he carrying more timber than last year/start of this? If he grasps this chance and proves his worth does that give Radford a dilemma for next season re the 6 position?

The return of ellis from injury was the difference between you being a bottom 4 side to a top 8 side,the guy is a great player.You really do need to go to specsavers. |
