Not really is it? I doubt there is one genuine Hull fan who found any enjoyment in that or the other rubbish we've served up for much of the season

Actually you'll find I posted this after the Magic WeekendBeen one of the team and Radfords biggest critics, but we've deffo turned a corner. Today's game was the first time for ages where I felt we really dominated a game and the players gave their all for 80mins. Hope fully we can end 2015 on a high and start 2016 with confidence'"
should have known that Super League's specialists in mediocrity would burst the bubble again.

I was just replying to the 'happy clappers' crap. The performance tonight was garbage particularly from certain shameful individuals.

| I think to many dont give any credit to the opposition, lets face it Leeds did a job on us last night ,they gave us no space whatsover with quick line speed albeit helped by childs ,they did it from minute one to 80 making us move the all at speed and in those conditions it was fatal .When we tried the same we got penalised .Our kicking game was not good enough and Sinfield gave us a lesson in that. The defeat was helped by awful individual errors which the best coach in the world has no control over.I know many dont like the statement of how great the effort was but there was no doubt they tried really hard and you cannot knock that. Westerman had a mare but he was not alone .I like many are gutted and really thought we had a chance but it was not to be and we move on and hopefully to better things but make no mistake the wakey games will be no gimme`s

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

| I wonder if Brian Smith has had a "crow's nest" built in the top of the stands at Wakefield yet?

I agree. Some go OTT in their anger, but I don't honestly think they are happy about it.

I agree with a lot of that, but I do think we were as responsible for our poor attack as Leeds were. Whilst they were pressuring us to contribute to the errors, we were consistently making the same ones and didn't alter tactics to try and address them. That's just stupid.

I honestly think our biggest problem is mis-management of the media, too often we're in the HDM (or elsewhere) spouting off about how we can beat x, or how if only y had happened we'd be lifting trophies. I'd love 6 games of no comment from FC, announce the team and that's it, do the talking on the pitch, and not get excuses in early. We saw it last week, Radford already commented on the short turnaround, they're supposed to be professional RL players.

It wasn't a tactical issue at all. It needed certain players to hold and control the ball better. That's basics, not tactics, in my opinion.

It was both IMO. We tried to play low-percentage rugby in wet conditions. It wasn't working but we stuck at it.
If the weather had been fine or the errors had been less numerous I'd agree with you about it being basics only, but crash balls at the line with a slippery ball invite disaster, which we duly got yet kept asking for more.

I believe that the weather probably did have a greater detrimental affect on us that Leeds but there's no question they handled it miles better. If we'd gone into safe mode I very much doubt we'd have created anything at all against them.
That's why at the time I was very disappointed with Rankin's effort against Moon when Moon decided to go on a play on his own. Conceding that try early meant that Sinfield could just keep turning us around and making us bring it off our own line. Moon wanted that ball more than Rankin and that was very, very disappointing.

I agree with all that (although I think there's a middle ground between difficult crash balls right at the line and safe mode).
My original point was merely that our poor attack was as much about us as Leeds doing a job on us. Whether it was our poor handling or poor strategy placing greater pressure on our handling, either way we let things that were within our control cost us.
