You really don't know what you are on about do you!
Lancaster and HTW train with the 1st team.
Here we go then the facts, not abuse, or misguided statements.
The following clubs and the number of players who have been called up to the 2 England squads named today. This is players who train with their respective acadamy's or youth teams not those who train full time with their 1st team squads.
Wigan Warriors = 12
Leeds Rhinos = 8
St Helens = 5
Widnes Vikings = 5
HKR = 4
Huddersfield Giants = 3
Warrington Wolves = 3
Wakefield Wildcats - 2
Castleford Tigers = 1
Salford = 0
Hull FC = 0

Is that why yours' is assessed as poor then?

Why are you so sure he's one of ours? His opening salvo to his very brief posting history would suggest otherwise.
If criticising your own from time to time makes you a fan of your rivals, then I would like to make you President of the Rovers supporters club!

Are we, have you the 2014 link please.
If poor and the RFL choose four players in the international squad, could be rivalling Leeds and Wigan numbers when things improve.

Could be a decent earner for you when you sell them on.

Wigan Warriors
I'd bet you anything you want that some of those Wigan players, train with the first team.

Whichever way you look at it we have 2 players out of 48 in either squad which is pretty poor & shows we've a long way to go still, as I've said before it's the youth/academy coaching that is as important if not more so than the 1st team so that we ensure we are getting a good crop every year that are ready to be bloodied in SL, at the moment they are coming through in dribs & drabs, Wigan for instance get a good half dozen every year without fail'"
Not really it shows at this time for whatever reason, the person picking the squads doesn't rate the Hull players or thinks that there are better out there.
Looking at the results of the 16s and 19's we have been up there with the top teams and certainly not far off, it is how they develop from that age and into SL players and I am confident with the current set up, these players will continue to come through like they have the last 3 years.
The youth system at hull is in very good hands and will continue to produce SL standard players.
Last year we had as many players in both squads as the other teams and the likelyhood is that next time we will have more players included.

Exactly. It's a classic case of knowing the names in your own squad but not your opposition's. A fair few of those lads in the Academy squad in particular will have full-time deals and train with the first team at their clubs, and I also reckon plenty of them have played some part in their clubs' pre-season games. It's amazing that the fact we've given a couple of under 19s some first team games is being used in some sort of warped way to discount them so that people can have a pop at our youth system.

| These Academy leagues and squads are flawed due to the fact they are in 2 or 3 years age groups,
for example one team could all be 3rd year 18/19's and the other full of 1st year 16/17's, similar with the U16
i know this years U16 at Hull has a large base of 15's
And we have one major problem in this are that us and KR and fighting over the same pool of talent, whereas the likes of Wigan, Saints, Wire & Leeds use the whole of Yorkshire & Lancashire
RFL are doing the audits as we speak, so lets see whats what when the grades come out, good chance of FC getting Grade 1 i recko
Dont forget as well as HTW & Lancaster, weve had Logan, Abdull, Turgut, Cunnigham , Jordan Lane, Jack Downs and Brad Harrison plus maybe a couple more in and around these squads at U16 & U19 over past couple of years
