| Of those I have personally seen it's the old guard, Sully by far and away the best, though I never saw him in B&W in his pomp.
Dane O'Hara was international class.
Jason Eastwood for reasons I can never quite work out. But Mal Reily and Brian Smith made him world class.
Two favourite unsung heroes are Alf Macklin and Taffy.
Of those I never saw Jack Harrison's record speaks for itself. Others I know very little about.
I will add that I wouldn't include any wingers after Eastwood's era.

| Pepi Brand is a shocking omission. Special mention to Fili Seru.

| Bruce Ryan.
Clive Sullivan.
Ivor Watts.
Jack Harrison.
My dad saw all these play but Ryan was his favourite. Ryan for me and many others in that post WW2 era was iconic and is my best. Sullivan was great and little Ivor Watts was an outstanding servant of the club. Combination would be Ryan and Sullivan.
Will add that my uncle(mums side) served in WW1 in the same Regiment as Jack Harrison, died in France and was posthumously awarded a Military Medal.

| Sully is the easy and obvious choice, not only very good but he did it over a long career. I'm struggling to think who else stands out from the rest, plenty who have had good but relatively short careers of the 2 to 5 year length and when you are talking all time you would hope there's more. One real blast from the past who is before just about before everybody's time is Billy Stone, good enough to tour Down Under and score 149 tries for the club in the 1920's - on this information alone he must have been useful. Also someone will have to say it but Tom Briscoe's record stacks up well against at lot of the other names mentioned here.
For personal entertainment value I enjoyed watching Super Taff. However as a cult hero there is nobody to match Super Alf, who looked nothing like a winger is supposed to look but managed to get the job done and at times outdid some illustrious opponents.

Billy Stone played with Billy Batten as his centre for a few years in the early 20's and was a goalkicker too. The first Challenge Cup final my dad went to was in 1922 at Headingley, when Hull lost 10-9 to Rochdale Hornets. Hull scored in the final minutes in the corner and Biily Stone missed the conversion. He went to another 3 CC finals and never saw them win. I have been to 4(including 2 of his) and never seen them win either.

| For me Sullivan was the best closely followed by Taffy but if it hadn't have been for broken legs I really believe that Kevin James would have gone on to great things. Difficult isn't it when you've watched for a while. I forgot to mention Fili Seru and Patrick Solliel. There I mentioned them Ha

| If you look through our long history then Ivor Watts with over 400 appearances and 200 tries has to be in contention as our second highest try scorer. Often overlooked for some reason he was at the Club for over 39 years, still holds the record for most tries in Derby's and had 15 years playing first team rugby for the Club when if he was fit he was an automatic choice. Lovely bloke too. Wilf Rosenberg was the most exciting winger I saw, but I just wish I had seen Bruce Ryan! Clive is the obvious top choice Though.

| My immediate thoughts were Clive Sullivan and Dane O'Hara and then after reading other posters favourites made me think back to my early days as a supporter when Keith Bowman and little Ivor Watts were on the wings . Two very contrasting types of players. Keith big and strong and Ivor with his mazey runs. When I first saw Van Volanhovan(can't spell ) of Saints I wished we had a winger with that shear pace and then came Clive . Been my all time favourite ever since. What a nice guy as well. We went to see him at work and asked if he could ask the team to sign my lads birthday card. Not a problem. The following week we had the card back signed by all the players and coaches. Super guy.
There are lots of candidates for the other wing but I'm sticking with Dane O'Hara. I think that team with the Kiwis in it was our most exciting team to watch.

| Keep the names coming folks, looks like it's going to be a hard task selecting the 8 nominees, let alone the final 2

| Surprised no one has mentioned Tevita. I know he played for us at the lower level, but it was fun while it lasted.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Kevin James snapped his Achilles 3 times, that ended his FC career.

Super winger, who only started playing league when he was about 30 and became one of the best wingers in SL. If he signed for Hull or another RL team when he was 18, god knows how good he could have been.
We certainly made a big mistake not keeping him.
