Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Quote: Oldfaithful76 "Will be a right pain if we can't reserve the seats we've had in the west stand for the past few years. I've emailed the club to ask as it seems a strange decision to make all of the west stand unreserved, not sure I see the logic behind it unless it saves the club lots of money in administration ticketing this way. Fingers crossed its a mistake or the club have rethink.'" I'm most unimpressed with this decision. I've had the same seat since the KC opened and for many years at the Boulevard before.
I could arrive just before kickoff without any worries about finding a seat which was not getting soaked in the pouring rain.
W9 is a £150 area now,W8 is £250. How do you police who sits where?

| It must be an error re: west stand
The people in there (myself included) would end up with a seat in a stand they don't want to sit in , with all the best views gone anyway.
If true, I won't be renewing. Sure it must be an error.

| There are two shades of blue on the seating plan on page 10. The prices on page 8 show only the darker shade of blue. The way I read it that refers to W1-W4 and W9-W12 as unreserved (with some seats in W11 available for £150).
On page 11 it says any 2014 season ticket holder can retain their current seat upto 29th November.
Probably needs some clarification from the club, though.

| Thought buying a pass in 2013 and 2014 made sure you get discount on 2015.
Yet my pass has gone up
Also page 9 states i can get a pass for £150 and details are on page 10.
Yet page 10 doesnt say a thing on how to get my pass for £150

Check out the page numbers in purple, pages 11 and 10 are the wrong way round.
Maybe the printed version is clearer.

| big mistake not making the west reserved!
adam wants fans to get behind the tham more than ever next season, well he isnt helping himself doing away with reserved seating!
as for the person who said the stadium should be unreservd all over, obviously must sit on their own, since the kc opened we have had the same seats, people around us have too and become good friends, why does/would the club want to do away with this

you bet never has a truer word..... just contacted the Club and the West Stand reserved seats are still reservable this season, nothing has changed (except the price) its 'an error at the printers' apparently.

Bye then, we have had much worst days than this and many have stuck the club, you either support the club or not. I bet you would be one of the first in the club should they get to wembley again.

Renewals DO get a discount - they are shown in the brochure. £15 discount for adult renewals.

Surely you agree that current season ticket holders should get a benefit? As per the above post, this was announced last season. You knew that if you got a season ticket for 2014 you'd get a discount in 2015. If you are turning your back on the club for the sake of £15 then that says much for your loyalty. As Dave K says, no doubt you'd be there should we get back to Wembley.

| I won't be renewing, but nothing to do with the seating or cost.
I see it as my only way to show support or distain for the direction the club is going in.
I will still be attending albeit choosing the games depending on the opposition or improvement in the playing performance. Mr Pearson asked for support when he came here, so I have bought my pass ever since. He also promised lots........ He hasn't delivered, so until his organisation does I won't be buying another pass.
Just my view and approach.

I think this is a fair post and hopefully you will be attending most games next year and be getting a pass in the near future again.
I do think the club are slowly going in the right direction, youth is looking really strong, recruitment has been very good for next year IMO, we just need to get it right on the field.

| Quote: Lostyorkie "He (AP) also promised lots........ He hasn't delivered, so until his organisation does I won't be buying another pass.'" I've never really understand this argument.
No owner/chairman/coach can promise success, whether it be football, rugby or any other sport for that matter.
All you can expect is for them to promise to do the best they possibly can to achieve success, a subtle difference.
