He played against a guy 3 times his size and defended strongly against him. Certainly 100% better than his performances so far.

Like I say, I agree he was better, just not as far as saying very strong. Still some positional lapses.

Yes, so glad to see that our fans realise what a signing Thompson has been don,t know who takes the credit for this one, I assume its our last head coach.

Turning out to be the signing of the year but not many will mention it , Well bagged before we even kick a ball . I 'd even give him a go at centre.

I'll hold my hands up on that one. I was very critical of his signing, based on seeing him play on the wing mainly for cas but he looks massive compared to last season and has been excellent so far in either the back or front row

Thompsin aka Holidays, is out very own Ruben Wiki. Started as a centre and throughout his career made his way to the back row before ending up as a front rower. Let's hope he plays just as good as him

Seriously though I wasn't overly keen in the signing, but he's playing great. Runs fantastic lines and has very good pace for a big lad. Still needs to work on his defence a little but he's doing a great job at the minute.

Thompson is the perfect answer to all those people who like to knock players before they pull the FC shirt on. He's been a great signing and fully justified his place in the side. A great performance last night!!

I think it was the right call for Miller to get the MoM award. He came into the side under what I thought were pressurising comments from Radders looking like he had a point to prove and boy did he prove it.

It's really hard to pick a top three for me as I thought no one let us down last night and they all had great games.

Think that's a fair point. If we have Carvell , Paea and Bowden back next week it's going to be difficult finding 3 forwards to replace from last night. Centre on the other hand?

Thomson was always a good signing for me. Used to see him a lot back when used to watch a lot of 20s games.
When he signed i believed it was as successor to Ellis. Thought we'd mould him into an Ellis type player. Young kid as a centre, naturally fill out move into pack as a naturally good defender and naturally strong. But now looks like prop is a real possibility
