I do agree he is a decent player who tries hard, I was just meaning that we are spending a significant sum on wingers, but still haven't got 2 top class ones, and we still don't give them any decent service anyway. The squad building has been a joke under several coaches for years now.

i've seen an improvement in effort and determination in most of the games, but that is about it.

defence has dropped massively, while we are as clueless in attack as ever & kicking game is still poor.

at best we are no better than we were under Agar or Gentle.

Goulding at Wigan is far from been top class and isn't even an international, yet makes Charnley look world class and gives him opportunity after opportunity to score.
