2009 - we won our first five games and were second in the league. We played you at home on a Friday night in round six in front of a 14,000 crowd and you won 19-18 after we led 10-6 at half time. If we had won we would've gone top. That was the start of a five game losing run in the league - in fact we only won another five games in Super League that season (Salford twice, Celtic, Harlequins and yourselves in Edinburgh) and finished 12th. |

Ah, the Chris Thorman season, I'm still having nightmares of Wakey away that year. |

Our iffy kicking of conversions could be a massive factor in the result as I'm expecting this to be a tight game.
Cas look strong so far this season - definitely above my pre-season expectations - but I think we can take them if we get a similar performance from the forwards as this week.
We've got a real headache over our right wing/centre combinations, would rather see Whiting back in the second row where he's best but surely there has to be a reason for both Arundel and Crooks being overlooked for last week's game.
Should be a great game.

Really hope I can get to the game, Wheldon Road certainly isn't the biggest stadium in the world but it's probably my favourite! Always a cracking atmosphere when I've been (which has been every year for the last 5 seasons). |
