I was not keen on him at all & still hoping he proves me wrong, i cant believe FC could'nt find a player in the lower leagues who can play a bit, half decent defender who could blossom in full time environment, still think he will be targeted in defence by other teams.

That was a terrible Widnes side, remember Sean Long playing for them. Bit of stability might do Miller some good, poor lad's played under 4 different coaches in the last year or so.

Bit of a ridiculous thread TBH, how can you say miller should go after half a season, maybe just under half, and 2 PSFs, his kicking game against bradford was subpar, but he needs his time to establish a partnership, cant stand it when people have a go at younger players, telling them, they need to go, after a short amount of time.

At least Seymour played the first game of last season at Headingley before being scapegoated and dropped.

Rediculous opening post, I was expecting to read a Visa issue or home sick. The kid will only get better, poor kicking yesterday but no points at stake. He also knows that he will be dropped if he doesn't perform. Expect Horne to start the season in the halves and Radders has already indicated that he couuldl play Azza there (although personally I would just keep Azza for spelling Houghton)

Tbf I have knocked him in recent posts but I was just annoyed we didn't sign an experienced half, but we are in a transitional period as a club & will just be happy to ride the next few seasons til we reap the rewards for our youth structure. Unless you are willing to spend 100s of thousand pounds there is no world beaters about, plus what is 1 superstar going to do on his own I'm just glad we haven't made any recent big money signings like Chase & spent wisely for the clubs future.

I just hope we dont start with Horne against Cats, he's been great for Hull over the years but we have to give Rankin and Miller time together and not drop one for a couple of poor performances.

They've played together before, live together and the best of mates im confident if given time they'll come good as a partnership.

this must be one of the worst threads ever.give the kid a chance.look through out the history of super league and you'll see alot of the good overseas players had very average first seasons.pat richards and tim smith spring to mind but i would be happy with either of them in our team the last 3/4 seasons

Kind of exciting when I think of what they can do
