If there both fit, it's the obvious choice. Why people are saying different is beyond me.

i agree with this, my post above was only a suggestion for the bradford friendly, should have made that more clear. centre between yeaman and arundel to see who partners talanoa. longer term can see talanoa on the centres when biggs arrives and crookes is fit. could prove quite difficult to replace briscoe this season

| why would we play talanoa on the wing in our first competitive game of the season? the guy has been emptying dustbins and playing 4th rate RU in Oz, had no pre season, doesn't know his team mates etc. whilst we have 4 fit 3/4's from last season. Stick arundell on the wing

| Have to disagree with Radford here. All the friendlies are practice matches. He should play next Sunday rather than have a centre on the wing. He will have had a full week' s training by then. There's nothing to be lost by giving him a run out.

Hope Lineham injury is only minor, although I don't buy Radders comment that he was taken off as a precaution, as he was a passenger for 5 minutes and clearly uncomfortable. Wouldn't want Lineham being riskied next week if there is even a hint of an injury, this might force Radders hand into playing Talanoa earler then planned

Looked like his hip to me, think it was a back injury? Wouldn't risk him if the slightest doubt.

| There's an interesting picture of Lineham being tackled in the act of "scoring" on the HDM website, linked elsewhere. Doesn't look good and the fact that he struggled for the next few minutes before being subbed suggests it was serious enough that it couldn't be run off.
Hopefully the rest will sort him out, but I'd give Talanoa a run out on Sunday anyway. We don't want to be in the position of having to play him in a league game when he hasn't played at all.
