Don't worry about vts they've got back up generators spare a thought for the pilots and pilot boat crews who have to go out in this bad weather. I'm at work on the pilot boats tonight, not looking forward to it at all. The boat crews will be relieving through Grimsby and probably working out of there all night as the jetty at spurn will be unsafe due to the westerly winds. |

Humberside Police have just issued a severe weather warning for North East Lincs (Grimsby in old money). Good luck, the wind is switching to northerlies, running parallel with the coast. Everything seems to be mirroring the conditions of 60 years ago |

Suspend opperations is the sensible option, but we are talking HES here  if you cant recover a pilot in this weather, stop the job....simple. Forgot about the generators  |
