You'd hope that this is exactly what the club meant by leaving options open until after the WC, but would have no doubt impressed other clubs so we'd probabally get pipped anyways.

I don't think it was, he has a nrl contract and was one of Parras better back rowers last season. |

I watched the BBC 2 highlights programme and he certainly stood out.He seems the type of player we need,but his games so far in the world cup must have increased his value both here and at home.Sheldon mentioned that he was one of Parras stand out second rowers and I also read somewhere that he does prefer and wishes to be seen as a back rower.I would assume,if we went after him it would be to play off half so maybe there wouldn't be much interest from him.He certainly looks the business though.

Win/win situation for us as if Horne and Miller are fit and playing well, he could play in the backrow and looks exactly what we are missing in that position. If any injuries he could slot into 6, I hope the club are at least looking into him as an option if he might be available,
