| Yeah agreed the NZ coverage was good. Noble reffering the Halliwell Jones as Wilderspool last night really gets my goat tho. This type of draconian fat chewin whilst on live TV to the world really annoys me. It the little things with me. Can you tell! ! Been ok to be fair. Hate Jonathon 'excentuate everything I say' Davies on the beeb.

That's Vossy. No flannel at all - just accurate and to the point of what's happening on the pitch.
Waldorf and Statler could do to follow his example of how to commentate.

| Crowd was 7,247, got to give the people down at Bristol their due, that is a cracking crowd for the weakest fixture of the whole tournament. The game at Craven Park on Sunday only had 234 more in, and Hull has much more RL history.

TBF the City of Hull should have 40,000 through the gates for the world cup, now that is VERY good

of course, I wasn't mocking our City's effort, just pointing out that the team at Bristol have done a very good job marketing an unattractive fixture in a city where to many RL doesn't exist!
there has definitely been green shoots of recovery for the game in this world cup, from the biggest crowd in Cumbria for 23 years, to the high number of new fans buying tickets for Cardiff & Wembley, I hope the game can convert some of these people in to regular fans.

| I think they've scheduled the opening fixtures really well with the likely closest run games being played first. Really enjoyed them all so far.
Can see a few big scores being posted in round 2 tho'.
