Mentioned were after a new half and would either trade/sell to get one.'"
I'll listen too it again but I'm pretty sure he never mentioned Holdsworth by name. He referred to the halfback situation last season being too inconsistant and agreed when a caller quoted facts about our best games were when Horne was on the pitch. It did come across as Holdsworth would be the likely one to go but I also got the impression it depends on how he responds in preseason and it would ultimately be Radders call.

| He mentioned that we were looking to bring in another halfback. He also said any players coming in would have to be traded for. He also said that Miller would be here next year and championed Horne, he slated every part of our game that Holdsworth was in charge of, slammed the turn up one in four games 'people' whilst referring to a question about him and knocked that players were allowed to come back in dribs and drabs last year.
Then when asked if Holdsworth would be moved on, he said if there's business to be done, we'll do it.
I don't think any conclusions are being drawn that are wrong. It's quite clear in his tone and by what he said that if he can he'll move DJ on. That then leaves the problem that if we can't move him on, we're stuck with a player that AP has slammed publicly, again.

I tend to agree, but unless I've missed it somewhere it's still not technically right for Humberside to say that Pearson has said we'll listen to offers for Holdsworth specifically. Unless he did it off air, which would bring into question whether or not it was intended to be made public.

He's either said it off air, but on the record - or RH have made a [sizemahoosive[/size blunder.

Given that they claim he said something quite specific, that comes under massive blunder. He either said that Hull are open to offers or he didn't. There's no real interpretation wriggle room there, like if they'd said 'implied' or some such. Even that'd be a tiny bit shoddy from a public service broadcaster.

I listened from start to finish, not once did pearson say they were looking to release or trade holdsworth, he did say players would be leaving by trading but no players names were mentioned, it looks to me like Humberside have jumped to the conclusion that its holdsworth

Difficult to judge. Reading the threads, it seems [isome[/i think he implied his meaning pretty clearly. Making it explicit and letting people/other clubs know specifically what wares you have for trade, isn't a huge leap.
That RH might have made a boob isn't inconceivable. And the HDM, with whom Hull FC appear to have a closer relationship don't seem to have picked it up. RH haven't removed or editted their tweet though.

| I'm getting a bit sick of all the negative comments on these posts theres no fooking wonder players start getting unsettled and we can't get any consistency within our club, everybody is entitled to their opinion but slating players and coaches is just damaging our team. Dont forget what happened to Brett Seymour with pathetic comments and chants, if anyone is unhappy with the way the club is run buy it, shut it or go and support the dobbins. AP is going to carry on reading these comments and eventually fook off because of a couple of disgruntled fans, were starting to sound like dobbins fans for christ sake back the coaches and the players and stick together ANY KIND OF WEATHER come on u ullaagggghh

| I came across this story on Twitter this morning and I must say it did really surprise me. I hope it isn't true, as I'd like to see a full year with him and Miller in the halves. On the Leon Pryce rumour, oh God please NO.
