I watched this guy a few times playing for Leeds Tykes (Carnegie) and was always impressed and thought he'd be even better suited to RL and make a good convert.

I cannot recall now whether he took part in any training sessions with the Rhinos or not. I'm sure I read somewhere at the time that he had and having seen him play Union I was hoping the Rhinos might have given him a deal but the next thing he left the club.

Not getting him until May plus his learning curve, means he isn't going to have much of an impact next season

As a winger I don't see too many problems in him adapting to league

Adapting as a winger; no problem at all. He's a cracking player, I've seen a lot of him playing and he'll be a real favourite at Hull. Great signing, plus a local lad.

Very happy with the signing but we need to do all we can to procure his release from Bath ASAP. If we are not getting him till May we won't see much of him next season.

Interestingly no mention in the HDM or our web site when he's joining, but Bath are reporting end of season which for them is May (extended with play offs?)

I thing it will be a case that we are still negotiating the terms on early release from the final few months of his Bath deal otherwise the FC contract would have been 2 and a half or 3 and a half years.
