I think Westwood is a fantastic aggressive player, however it was a cheap shot & a deliberate attack to the head for all to see which should have resulted in a red card.
He will cop a ban however my understanding is it will not affect the international but will be carried to next season, mind it appears Wire players are immune for punching if we go by the Briers incident!!
