I'm not a scout, all I can see is that DJ is too hit and miss and i dont think that another side in the top 5 would have him.

Here are two marquee players:

Nikolai Poliakoff and Charlie Cairoli

According to motu on RH it looks like recruitment is about done. Near the cap already.

With O'Meley, Lynch, Briscoe and Seymour gone I'd like to think we have a decent lump left based on who we have recruited already.

Well there's Miller, Paea, Feka & Thompson. Plus there's the upgrading of about 4 or 5 including Houghton, Crooks & Lineham. O'Meley was supposedly on a reduced wage for his last year and I don't think Lynch was on mega bucks.

Reckon both Hull clubs have to sweeten the deal a little more than most other clubs for overseas talent (and probably some English) too, due to geographical reasons.

Similar with Burns, I understand, knowing Paea and Dobson were off as soon as they could scramble for the exit. Not sure even Mike Smith would have expected Paterson to escape and be trying to flog Tuimavarve, Hall and Caro so soon though. Need those beans to fund a big fee for your "man" Cockayne, I guess.

If we have pulled out of the Jonathan Walker signing surely that must free up some cap?

I believe we were talking to Feka long before we pulled out of the Walker deal. Two very different types of prop. I think we intended to sign both of them, especially having decided to let Lynch leave.

Someones a bit touchy, it was a valid question looking at who's going out and who's coming in and the insinuation that the cap has gone.
