As I have watched the club for many years my circumstances have changed. Initially as a kid, my attendance relied on my parents taking me. Then as a student my attendance was almost guaranteed as my income was spent on FC, Beer and girlfriends ideally all together. Then as a working man I budgeted to watch the team all the time. Now as a family man, my priorities have changed. I have to provide for my loved ones. If I don't feel that the £100+ a game it costs to watch Hull FC can be justified week in week out does that make me less of a fan?
Maybe I miss one or two games so that I can afford to kit the kids out in FC gear? Maybe I miss one or two games simply to feed the kids. Maybe I miss one or two games because my car failed its MOT. The car I need to get to work in order to afford to go and watch Hull FC. Maybe I miss one or two games simply because I don't enjoy the product on the pitch that has cost me a small fortune to watch.
We all have various reasons for supporting Hull FC. We all have various reasons for not attending every game like "true fans". I admire all who go week in week out. I have been there before. But circumstances change so stop with the "I'm a better fan than you because......" bulls41t and accept that we all love the club in our own special individual way.'"

Well Said Good post!'"

Good post saves me typing out similar.

I class myself as a fan & supporter of Hull FC ever since my first game when I was 7 years old and am now in my early 40's. I have had a season pass for as long as I can remember and always renewed no matter what.

However things change in peoples lives and although I will always be a fan & supporter of Hull FC I seriously have to question whether this year I will renew. For me the enjoyment of going to games has erroded due in part to the way the game has gone and also the dross served up over the past decade after I thought we had turned the corner with the CC win and GF appearance.

I can think of more important things and more enjoyable things to spend the money I earn on currently other than Hull FC as I think they have had plenty out of me over the years.

I can accept changes in players, coaches and results not always going our way but to potentially have another assistant come through under another Head Coach that has failed to improve the performances is something that I seriously have to question. On top of that the rumour that is seemingly gathering pace in a certain Paul cooke returning in some capacity for me would be the last straw.

With the latter how can a guy who walked out on a club and team mates leaving them high and dry command any sort of respect from anyone?

We have for the last decade tried and failed with moving assistants up to Head Coaches and if someone with the coaching experience that Gentle had struggled to turn things around at this club then I just can't see anything but another failure going down a similar road with Radford.

If Cooke is to become involved in our club again I will not be happy at all.

We're heading for Radford + Cooke? Really??

Wonder if it has the same outcome (Radford thumping Cooke)

If we don't buy passes or don't attend when we can then we don't have a club !!! If as a customer you don't feel your getting value for money then don't go but if enough of you think and act like that then you must realize there won't be a club. Simple As !!

Challenge Cup Winners 2016 (at Wembley) - HULL FC:

Seems some people don't realise money is in short supply these days and value for money is the 'key' point here.

I am not forking out for a pass to witness the toothless performances we have endured over recent seasons.

Plus allowing Cooke to be involved again is the final straw. He may say some sensible things in the HDM but he shouldn't be employed by the club he couldn't wait to walk out on.

Unfortunately that is what happens to companies whatever sector you are in if you continually provide your customer with a product that offers poor VFM they go and spend their hard earned money elsewhere, they do not have a right to continually expect it.

The fact Hull FC is a sports club will make no difference and if this is a real danger then the Club/Company need to react to its main customer base to keep it.

As much as I love the club I have always supported there is a limit to how much money I am prepared to waste (i dont have an infinite supply of cash) as that in all honesty is what I feel I am doing with it now and by the sounds of things I am not the only one having this feeling.

I have my season pass sorted for next season but don't begrudge anyone who has decided not to get one or is still debating whether to do so or not.

I have bought passes for the last 12 years in a row, and usually buy within the first few weeks of them being on sale.

At present I am not getting one for next year and the biggest factors that are affecting pass sales are the following IMOThe amount of times the team just completely don't turn up for game and don't compete I can accept that in a league where there is a salary cap you aren't going to win every week, I even enjoyed our defeat to Wigan at home as the standard of RL was so high from both teams. I have walked away from the KC feeling downbeat at having watched a gutless, uninterested performance from the team far too many times in recent years.

The amount of promises made by the board/owners that are continually not delivered I can accept that the club is a business and that saying 'we are going to be mid-table' doesn't shift tickets, but the amount of hype at the end of last season in particular just sets the club up for a big fall.

The standard of SL in general going downhill Not just HullFC at fault for this one, but the changes to the exchange rate & tax rules has meant fewer big name stars are coming over from Aus/NZ. This years playoffs have IMO been the weakest in SL so far, with only 1 good game (Leeds-Saints) 1 average game (Wigan-Hudds) and the rest have been awful fixtures played out to empty grounds. You get 3 'free' games by getting a pass and I could easily give the atmosphere and tensionless games against London, Wakefield, Widnes, Salford etc a miss.

Availability of tickets Crowds have gone down, so its easier to get decent seats at the KC on the day, this season there has been empty seats near us in East stand reserved near the centre line all year, whereas in say 2007 when crowds were higher the East & South stands were selling out for big fixtures. It tempts you to pay on the day and take advantage of the £5 ticket deals. Even the derby isn't coming close to selling out now.

Amount Of TV Games We are a club that likes to 'tease' the SKY schedulers, we like to pretend we have clicked and are on a run to the Grand Final for a few weeks, so SKY slot us in for a few TV games, we then play like a bunch of under8's that have just met...casual TV viewer is put of giving going to the game a try, loyal fans in the stands are left thinking why they didn't stay at home or down the pub.

Cost We are now in our 5th year of the economic downturn, and while some 'green shoots' may be appearing elsewhere, it'll takes years (if ever!) for Hull to recover. Also some (rightly or wrongly!) were funding themselves on credit cards and loans before the crash, which just isn't around anymore.

I'll get one but my enthusiasm is shot too bits at the min.
I can agree with this though. Can easily understand why a lot will think this way!!!
Personally I'd expect our passes to be down by a 1000ish come season start. Even in my small circle i have a few not renewing, get the impression they'll be sticking to their guns on it as well

Maybe I'm paranoid but.......

I just don't believe the number of posters supporting the return of Judas.

Is this him & his mates trying to brainwash us that it is a good idea ?

Won't work with me, his sins against the club are unforgivable.

No No No..........................
